2. Snow Tubing

Another thrilling winter activity is Ober Mountain snow tubing. This activity allows you to glide down a snowy hill while riding on an inflatable tube. The tubing hill at Ober Mountain is 350 feet long and has a total drop of 50 feet, giving you a long ride downhill with plenty of speed. This winter activity doesn’t require any special skills or athletic ability. All you have to do is ride the “Magic Carpet” outdoor escalator to the top of the hill, then hop on your tube and let gravity do the work. Each snow tubing session is 90 minutes long, which means you’ll have plenty of time to ride the tubing hill over and over.

3. Ice Skating

Do you want to enjoy a fun winter activity without facing the cold weather outdoors? Ice skating at Ober Mountain provides plenty of winter fun in the comfort of the climate-controlled enclosed mall. The large indoor ice arena can be enjoyed by both professional and beginner skaters. There is a handrail around the perimeter of the ice skating rink to help novice skaters maintain their balance when needed. If you don’t have your own ice skates, no problem! Rental skates are available for all skaters from toddler size 6 to adult size 15.

4. Ice Bumper Cars

For more indoor winter fun, try out the ice bumper cars at Ober Mountain. You can take a seat in one of the ice bumper cars and glide around the ice rink. These colorful tubes on wheels each have their own motor with controls that feel like playing a video game. Zoom around the ice, smash into other ice bumper cars, and spin around in circles. This activity is tons of fun for both kids and adults, and you won’t need to be out in the cold to experience it this winter.
