1. Baskins Square

When you first walk up, you’ll see Little Bear Winery, an incredible winery that serves free samples of their most popular wines. If you’re on the hunt for the perfect Smoky Mountain themed souvenir, then Best of the Smokys is the store for you. You also won’t find another magic and joke shop in town like Doc’s Magic shop. There’s also Bigfoot HQ, The Pottery & The Park, and GodsWorld. Of course, if you find yourself getting hungry, this unique place for Gatlinburg shopping has a variety of restaurants, including Tennessee Jed’s, New Orleans Sandwich Company, and Mountain Edge Grill.

2. Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Community

What makes the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Community a unique place to shop? Well, this is the largest collection of artists and craftsmen in the entire country. All of these makers have stores along an 8-mile loop road, and visitors are able to purchase items that these incredible artists have made. You could even find private lessons or just get to watch these talented people in action. Some of the incredible handmade items you’ll find include:

  • Glass
  • Leather goods
  • Quilts and textiles

3. The Village Shops

This quaint area makes you feel like you’ve left Gatlinburg and landed in a small village town in Europe. All of the shops are close together, making it easy to go from store to store. The ground is made of bricks, there are plenty of benches and places to rest, and the beautiful fountain in the middle is a sight to behold. Even the shops in this outdoor shopping area are pretty unique! The Day Hiker is dedicated to people who love the mountains, while The Sock Shop is for anyone who loves crazy socks. You’ll also find quite a few places for snacks and meals, including The Donut Friar, Maddie Mae’s Cafe and Creamery, and Boudicca’s Celtic Pub.

4. Anakeesta

You may not immediately think of shopping when you hear Anakeesta, but it is a pretty unique place to go shopping in Gatlinburg. There’s no other collection of retail stores located at the top of a mountain! The Watering Can has Anakeesta branded souvenirs to commemorate your time at the adventure park, while the Great Outdoors Trading Company has everything from kitchenware to home decor. If you enjoy browsing for homegoods and women’s apparel, then Catching Fireflies is a store you’ll want to visit, as well as The Mercantile. There are plenty of retail shops at Anakeesta you’ll want to visit.
