Known for being a fun and exciting time, this event combines all your favorite elements of visiting the Gatlinburg Space Needle with a festival holiday twist.

During the event, you and your loved ones will be in awe as world-renowned illusionist Keith Fields displays his many talents for a memorable evening of excitement. There will also be face painting and other activities designed for children to enjoy.

This year’s event works to pay tribute to renowned horror filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock and his 1950’s classics. There is also a tribute to one of the original men of mysteries, Harry Houdini.

Shows for Shocktober run every night in October beginning at 7 p.m.

Now, in addition to their usual tour, they are including a fun and festive parade to kick off their celebrations every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights beginning at 6 p.m as part of their annual Fright Nights celebration. The parade features a wide variety of creepy and spooky creatures as they roam about the night. After the parade, you and your loved ones will enjoy a memorable evening as you try to navigate your way through the nerve-tingling haunted house.

If you can’t make the weekend shows, you can still enjoy a ton of fun at this haunted attraction by exploring one of their many other tours hosted during the week.

3. Mysterious Mansion

Another unique place to find family fun in Gatlinburg TN for Halloween is the Mysterious Mansion. Known for it’s spooky staff and haunted adventure, we promise you will not be disappointed when you visit this entertaining attraction.

On the outside, the Mysterious Mansion looks like your typical turn of the century haunted mansion. It is three stories tall and has a front yard is laced with abandoned graves, eerie noises, and a large iron gate.

Once inside, you and your family will find a series of hidden passageways, winding staircases, and dark corridors, all of which you have to navigate through to find your way out of the mansion. Make sure you keep an eye out! You never know who or what may be hiding around the corner.

Mysterious Mansion is located at 424 River Road in Gatlinburg, TN. To reach the attraction, you can easily park at the public parking garage behind the Ripley’s Aquarium and walk to the haunted mansion.
