The Wild Plum Tea Room was inspired by the teahouses found in the mountains of Austria. These quaint cafes were meeting places for people to relax, catch up with one another, and enjoy fresh homemade food. Bringing this tradition to the Smokies, the Wild Plum Tea Room features family recipes, local ingredients and scenic outdoor seating. Menu highlights include chicken salad, wild plum tea, artisan sandwiches, soups, wild plum muffins and daily chef specials. The Tea Room also specializes in gluten free, vegetarian and vegan cuisine, so everyone in your party is guaranteed to find a delectable dish to enjoy.
Location and Hours
The Wild Plum Tea Room is located along the historic Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community Trail at 555 Buckhorn Road in Gatlinburg, TN. Guests will be able to choose between the main dining area, the tea room’s screened porch and its stunning outdoor patio. Outside seating is perfect for dog owners, who can dine with their furry friends on the outside porch deck. The Tea Room is open from March 1 until mid-December from 11am until 3 pm, Monday through Saturday.
