As Tennessee’s first legal moonshine distillery, Ole Smoky Moonshine invites guests to the area to come down for a free tour, and sample various types of their corn based spirits. You must be at least 21 of course to receive a free sample. If you like what you taste, Ole Smoky Moonshine has a gift shop showcases all their moonshine-inspired products.

Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen

Samples and a show. Visitors to the Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen shop in Gatlinburg can watch employees make taffy while sampling one of the many different flavors of homemade fudge. Other candy varieties offered by this shop in Gatlinburg include old time candy, homemade caramel, maple candy and truffles. Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen definitely has something for every sweet tooth!

Beef Jerky Outlet

That’s right, free samples of America’s favorite road trip snack. If you like hot sauce, Pepper Palace is the place for you. This shop in Gatlinburg has literally hundreds of hot sauces, barbecue sauces, salsas and much more. The heat scale on Pepper Palace’s sauces range from nonexistent to Nasal Napalm. And yes, you can get free samples of all the sauces before you buy them. Not to mention, Pepper Palace’s shop in Gatlinburg has a special that if you buy five bottles of sauce you get the sixth one free!
