Fantastic Fudge

Don and Katy Kilwin began making handcrafted fudge after purchasing a marble table in 1948. The Kilwins were inspired by Mackinac Island Fudge, a special style of fudge that originated on Mackinac Island, a resort area in Michigan. Original chocolate fudge is still the most popular flavor sold at the shop, but Kilwins offers many varieties of fudge worth trying. Kilwins’ Sea-Salt Caramel Fudge adds creamy caramel and Bali Pyramid sea salt to classic chocolate fudge. Another highlight of the fudge menu is the Maple Walnut Fudge, which consists of freshly made maple flavored fudge loaded with chunks of walnut.

Irresistible Ice Cream

In addition to delectable fudges and chocolates, Kilwins also serves fantastic old fashioned ice cream. As soon as you walk in the door you will be intoxicated by the irresistible smell of freshly baked waffle cones. With 32 flavors of original ice cream to choose from, Kilwins has something for every palette. The Gatlinburg Mud ice cream is a local favorite, consisting of vanilla ice cream mixed with caramel and bits of fudge.
