There’s plenty of places you and your family could go for fun, but these attractions offer a wide variety of family fun, so everyone is sure to find something they love about each one! Look at 3 of the best attractions in Pigeon Forge:
Everyone recognizes the iconic “upside-down house” along the Pigeon Forge Parkway. WonderWorks is an interactive museum of sorts with plenty of exhibits everyone will find interesting, from the smallest kids to the oldest adults. When you first walk into WonderWorks, the lobby is upside down, just like the exterior. To get to the rest of the museum, you must walk through the inversion tunnel, full of lights and makes you feel like you’re spinning.
Once you’re through the tunnel, you’ll come into the Wonder Zones areas. In Natural Disasters, you get to feel what 71 MPH winds feel like in a hurricane. In the Earthquake Cafe, feel what a 5.3 Ricter scale earthquake is like. In the Physical Challenges zone, climb a rock wall and test your skills or ride the Xtreme 360 bikes where you control it by how fast you pedal. See cool effects in the Light & Sound zone and learn about space in the Space Discovery zone. In addition to the zones, you can also go on a ropes course, play laser tag, or watch a magic show!
Of all the attractions in Pigeon Forge, Dollywood is probably the most popular. At this beloved theme park, you’ll find rides and attractions for toddlers to senior adults. Throughout the day, you’ll find shows with music, stunts, and dancing. From Showstreet to Timber Canyon, you’ll find something everyone in your group will love. Thrill seekers will want to ride Wild Eagle, Thunderhead, and Barnstormer. Take the whole family on the Dollywood Express and River Rampage. The kids will love the Country Fair, with all the games and rides designed just for them.
You’ll also find plenty of great places to eat in Dollywood. Red’s Diner has a classic diner feel with burgers, fries, and milkshakes. Aunt Granny’s buffet has all the southern dishes you could ever want to try. Victoria’s Pizza, Miss Lillian’s Smokehouse, and the Front Porch Cafe are just a few of the other restaurants you’ll find. If you’re looking for just a snack, go to the Crossroads Funnel Cakes, Kettle Korn, or Pork Rinds. And if you’re thirsty, stop by a Frozen Lemonade Stand. We promise you’ll love it!
3. The Track
Kids and adults will have fun at The Track! This adventure park works a little differently than most. Everything is on a points system. You load points onto a card, and when you want to ride or play something, you just swipe your card before you play! There’s a go kart track for everyone in the family, from Kiddie Karts to the Wild Woody. Everyone will have a blast driving or riding in a go kart!
Once you’ve ridden all the go karts, then you can do all the other fun things! Bump into each other on the blaster boats or bumper carts. Find thrills on the Hurricane 360 and the Spinning Coaster. Small kids will love the carousel, the swings, the train, and so much more. Grab a putter and play a round of mini golf on the safari golf course with your whole family! Once you’ve done everything outside, head to the arcade to play games and win prizes. You’ll all have a great time at The Track!
