There’s plenty of places you and your family could go for fun, but these attractions offer a wide variety of family fun, so everyone is sure to find something they love about each one! From discovering a fascinating world of wonders to adrenaline filled thrills and Appalachian experiences to year-round outdoor fun, there's so much to do that you won't want to miss. Here are 3 of the top attractions in Pigeon Forge:

1. WonderWorks

Everyone recognizes the iconic “upside-down house” along the Pigeon Forge Parkway. WonderWorks is an interactive museum of sorts with plenty of exhibits everyone will find interesting, from the smallest kids to the oldest adults. When you first walk into WonderWorks, the lobby is upside down, just like the exterior. To get to the rest of the museum, you must walk through the inversion tunnel, full of lights and makes you feel like you’re spinning. Because of how unique it is, it's one of the top attractions in Pigeon Forge!

Once you’re through the tunnel, you’ll come into the Wonder Zones areas. In Natural Disasters, you get to feel what 71 MPH winds feel like in a hurricane. In the Earthquake Cafe, feel what a 5.3 Richter scale earthquake is like. In the Physical Challenges zone, climb a rock wall and test your skills or ride the Xtreme 360 bikes where you control it by how fast you pedal. See cool effects in the Light & Sound zone and learn about space in the Space Discovery zone. In addition to the zones, you can also go on a ropes course, play laser tag, or watch a magic show!

2. Dollywood

Dollywood is one of the top attractions in Pigeon Forge

Of all the attractions in Pigeon Forge, Dollywood is probably the most popular. At this beloved theme park, you’ll find rides and attractions for toddlers to senior adults. Throughout the day, you’ll find shows with music, stunts, and dancing. From Showstreet to Timber Canyon, you’ll find something everyone in your group will love. Thrill seekers will want to ride Wild Eagle, Thunderhead, and Barnstormer. Take the whole family on the Dollywood Express and River Rampage. The kids will love the Country Fair, with all the games and rides designed just for them.

You’ll also find plenty of great places to eat in Dollywood. Red’s Diner has a classic diner feel with burgers, fries, and milkshakes. Aunt Granny’s buffet has all the southern dishes you could ever want to try. Victoria’s Pizza, Miss Lillian’s Smokehouse, and the Front Porch Cafe are just a few of the other restaurants you’ll find. If you’re looking for just a snack, go to the Crossroads Funnel Cakes, Kettle Korn, or Pork Rinds. And if you’re thirsty, stop by a Frozen Lemonade Stand. We promise you’ll love it!

3. Rowdy Bear's Smoky Mountain Funpark

Rowdy Bear's Smoky Mountain Funpark is without a doubt one of the top attractions in Pigeon Forge! It's a place to go when you want real action, laughs, and a variety of family-friendly experiences. It's home to Tennessee's longest outdoor tubing hill. It runs over 500 feet and has a drop that makes you want to ride again as soon as you hit the bottom! It's open year-round, so you can try snow tubing in the winter and high-speed summer tubing during the warmer months.

Tubing is just the start of all the fun. There's the Ski Lift Shootout Coaster, where you glide through the air and fire at targets with laser blasters. It's part roller coaster, part video game, and a total blast! There's also the Avalanche Snow Coaster, paintball, axe throwing, and a variety of hands-on experiences that are fun for kids and adults alike.
