Wild Time is a 3-bedroom cabin offering a rare combination of privacy and convenience, with a deck that backs directly up to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park while still being just 3 miles from Gatlinburg.
The main living area features a wood-burning fireplace (seasonal October through March), a sleeper sofa, and a fully equipped kitchen, along with a washer and dryer for added convenience. Two king bedrooms are located upstairs, each with its own TV and private bathroom.
On the lower level, a king bedroom also includes a set of bunk beds, making it a flexible option for families. This room also features a flat-screen TV and a full bath.
Step outside to the spacious back porch, where you can unwind in the hot tub, gather around the outdoor wood-burning fireplace, or enjoy a game on the pool table. Rocking chairs provide the perfect spot to take in the peaceful, wooded surroundings.
With direct proximity to the National Park and quick access to downtown Gatlinburg, Wild Time offers a comfortable and well-rounded Smoky Mountain getaway.

The prices: Wild Times cabin is in a lovely, secluded location. The cabin is beautiful, cozy, clean and the beds are very comfortable. Dealing with Parkside cabins is easy and pleasant. The cons: despite the Gatlinburg zip code, it is 20 minutes away from downtown. The cabin is obviously well-used and the wear of use shows in many places. There are only six forks in the kitchen, but the location sleeps 12 which is odd. We didn’t have hot water for a night, but they sent someone within 20 minutes when we called the following day.

Cabin sleeps 10 - Dinning room table seats 10. There were 6 forks and 20 steak knives. Great if you want to eat steak, but not good if you wanted to eat without using your fingers. You need to communicate what type of coffee maker you have at the cabin. It was great you had kitchen cleaning starters. The refrigerator was large and ice maker worked well. We enjoyed the covered patio-fireplace- and hot tub. All the TV's worked well. We used the parking passes and enjoyed them, but it was not made clear to us before we got there that they were available. But, thanks for the parking passes. We called days before our arrival to ask another question, and the person mentioned them. We thought she meant the Park Pass for parking at the park.

Beautiful cabin in a great location. Wild Time was as described however did have a very steep driveway that we were not expecting. We had no trouble , it was just a surprise. There were some stops on the walls that were dirty and needed repair but overall nothing terrible. The shower curtains did have mold in one of the bathrooms. The sheets would not stay on the king sized beds in any of the rooms. These are the negatives. We loved the secludedness with absolutely no neighbors. The outdoor area was amazing!

This was the 12th year in a row we’ve stayed at a Parkside cabin once or multiple times throughout the year. Always a great experience. Easy to check in and the cabins are always nice and ready with pretty much everything you need. Already planing for our after Christmas week in 2025 and a long weekend over the summer!

This was a great cabin. Beds super comfortable and great to have bathrooms in each of them. Great fireplace on the porch with TV, hot tub and great fun with family and friends. Plenty of comfy seating in the living room. My whole group loved our time in Wild Time! I would happily stay again!

This is our 3rd stay with Parkside. Our prior 2 cabins were top notch. This one - Wildside- however was not of same rank. Seriously in need of pest control for all the centipedes. There were no brooms or small vacuum which would have been very handy. Porch needed to be blown off. Not very toddler/crawler friendly.

Wild time cabin was very accommodating for everyone! I love the individual bathrooms in every bedroom! The issues we had were resolved quickly! There are a few outside lights that need replaced but other than that, everything was great! Definitely will stay again!

The cabin was not clean. Some of the sheets were dirty. All of the silverware in the drawer was nasty. We didn't use it, but I did take it all out of the drawer and wash it. I even washed the silverware holder it had food stuck to it. We drained the hot tub and refilled it. Other than this, we loved the cabin. We are coming back to the same cabin on July 4th week. I hope it is clean.

Our stay was nice. Should have had more trash bags and trash options. The place was a little dusty as well and there was nothing to sweep with or get it up with. The wood was also wet so we had to purchase our own and try drying it out. Overall no major complaints.

My family and I have stayed with Parkside every year for about 15 years. The cabins could use a little more cleaning but I will chalk this up to the quick turn around on rentals. Overall we have always been satisfied. We started out several tears at Smoky View. We have stayed the last 8 or 9 at Wild Times and are trying our hand at Mountain Magic next year.

Love this cabin! It was so secluded and relaxing! Our favorite part was hanging out on the covered deck and relaxing in the hot tub or playing pool. Would definitely come back to this cabin & have already recommended it to several people.

We have rented from Parkside several times. Wild Times was nice but there are a few items that could be improved on. Most outdoor chairs were broken or very old. The kitchen wasn't very well equipped to cook.

The booking and check in process was great. Quick and easy and informative. The cabin was in a great location and really made us have a true cabin in the mountains experience. There were several small things that are in need of attention, but didn’t change the quality of our stay. The kitchen was not stocked very well for cooking. Only a few small pans etc. We actually purchased a few kitchen items and left them there. We only planned on preparing a few meals so it wasn’t much of an inconvenience. The fan in the lower bedroom is broken. The jet tub plumbing was extremely dirty, most likely from lack of use. The hot tub had zero sanitizer. Luckily I manage a hot tub store and brought test strips. If hot tubs aren’t treated properly your guest can get hot tub rash or even worse reactions. If it was sanitized properly we would have used it. Overall a great experience and if we return to the Smokey’s we will most likely use Park Side for future stays. Thanks

We love Parkside and love Wild TIme! Jeff and the staff at the front desk are always so kind and helpful. We've been coming for several years now. Everything is just amazing and so well organized. The cabin is best, so clean and always well maintained. As a real estate agent, this is important to me. (I can remember several years ago the heating had gone out and these guys were so prompt and jumped on it immediately.) Parkside and Wild Time will always be at the top of our list.. Kudos!

Everything was AMAZiNG!!! The cabin was very clean. We normally don’t stay a lot were we have stayed in the past but we didnt’ leave the cabin but 2 times to buy groceries and to let kids play arcade we didnt want to leave. We had plenty of room. It’s very private. We loved the outside deck with the pool table, hot tub. The fireplaces are so nice and big. We were really sad to have to leave such a nice place. All of our family loved it we have it booked again for next year.

Fantastic accommodations! We enjoyed staying at the cabin as much as visiting the park. We wanted to be away from the crowds but close to the park sites. It was. We could see stars at night but could see no other human activity it was so secluded. Saw raccoon, rabbits and turkeys. Deck was very much a part of our evenings. 5 star visit.

As always a wonderful experience with Parkside. Check in was quick and easy and the receptionist was very pleasant. Very nice at check in and checkout. Wild Time cabin was very nice; however there were some cleaning issues. It appeared all toilet bowls had not been cleaned in awhile. All were yellowed and could be cleaned with a brush easily. Also the downstaits bathroom jacuzzi was filthy with soap scum. I will send a picture. Lastly the downstairs bedroom ceiling fan literally had so much dust on each blade that you couldn't see the blade edges. Outside there were a few active wasp nests. One on each bedroom balcony and 2 outside back door going out toward patio. We bought some spray and knocked them down.

Everything was good, but cleanliness of the last 2 cabins we stayed in with Parkside (Wild Time for this stay and Up the Creek the previous time) needs to be improved. As well as some minor repairs to the cabins, broken doors, broken shower handles for example.

The cabin was phenomenal!!! Easy check in as well. Very secluded, very quiet. Driveway will need to graded soon, big pot holes are forming. Beds were wonderfully comfortable.

The cabin was lovely. We will likely book it again. Only a couple of issues: no hot water in the upstairs bathroom, dishwasher not working, and some trash left under the trash bag in the kitchen. We had a very enjoyable weekend with ParksideCabin Rentals.

Check in was good, and check out was much easier this year with no keys to return. No only complaint is that the TV on the covered porch DESPERATELY needs an upgrade. No Blu-ray players either...other than that I was well pleased. I was especially unhappy with the TV because I called 2 weeks ahead of time to ask about it and the gentleman I spoke with said that it was on the list to be replaced and that he would try to get it done before we arrived. That didn't happen.

Cabin great. Loved the outdoor space. Just slightly disappointing that there was not alittle more attention to the upkeep of the deck space. First floor balcony was very dirty and stain peeling up. Outdoor deck had railing with carpenter bees flying in and out of. The worst was there was 3 active hornet/wasp nests. One outside first floor balcony and 2 outside door to main deck. We very well understand and expect bugs and spiders but we would expect an active nest over a door would be addressed. We did our best to knock it down and that resulted in 2 guests getting stung.

The cabin was perfect for the amount of guests we had with us. There were plenty of bathrooms and lots of space inside and outside of the house. We would highly recommend this cabin to others in the future and can't wait to come back.

Parkside is the best cabin rental service we have used in the smokies. We usually take a trip to the smokies at least once a year. We had a great experience with parkside and their rental policies are far superior to others we have used in the area. Parkside will now be our go to rental company on our return trips. The cabin was described accurately. The location was a little odd but most driveways are in this beautiful area. Check in and check out were a breeze and the assistance of the staff with directions was amazing.

Check in and Check out was great, cabin was ready a bit early and we were allowed to check in prior to 4:00pm which was really considerate. This was our second stay with Parkside and it was just as good as the first experience. House was clean (besides a little dust in corners and behind larger furniture) and well kept, linens were clean and beds were comfortable. The bunks in the downstairs bedrooms were a tad noisy and were reported to be uncomfortable for the two adults who slept on them. Showers and bathrooms were large and easily accessible. The driveway is gravel and relatively steep so lowriding cars may need to use extra caution, but the small sedan and two jeep suv's had no problem whatsoever. Overall it was a good experience and we would recommend and use this company and house again.

Loved the chalet! It was beautiful, and secluded. The deck along with the fireplace outside, was pretty awesome! The house was clean, the beds were comfy, and the sheets were crisp! Couldn't ask for better ambience!

Second time renting with your group. Love the cabins both times. Had a mouse to deal with in the last night, but all good. Maybe it was early in the season, but the cabin seemed exceptionally dusty-cobwebby, like no one had stayed there in a while. Again, all good. Will be back again.

The staff was most accommodating and pleasant ensuring we could check in a little earlier.We have stayed at Wild Time several years now. Last year the HVAC went out and the manager went BEYOND the call of duty to make sure our stay was pleasant. the beds were comfortable, the kitchen nice, except the light bulb was out on the stove. and it was hard for me to see with little light. we had 9 people, and it was great to be comfortable without being crowded. We have used your service for 3 times, and we were pleased every time. The cabin was great. We will use you again.
