Sunset Memories is a 2-story cabin in the Cobbly Knob area of Gatlinburg, offering wide, layered views of the Smoky Mountains that truly live up to its name. From morning light to evening sunsets, the scenery is the centerpiece of this stay.
The main level features a comfortable living area and a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, along with a king bedroom and a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
Upstairs, a loft area provides additional seating and an electronic game table, creating a second space to relax or unwind. This level also includes two additional bedrooms—one king bedroom and a second primary suite with a private bathroom—along with a second full bath conveniently located in the hall.
Step outside onto the wraparound porch and the setting really comes to life. Take in sweeping mountain views from the hot tub, enjoy a meal on the grill, or simply sit back and watch the changing light over the ridgelines. The elevated position of the cabin offers a true sense of space and perspective that’s hard to find this close to town.

We’ve been vacationing in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area for 10 years. This was our first time booking with Parkside Cabin Rentals and we were very satisfied! We stayed in Sunset Memories and the view was amazing, the cabin was clean and everything worked as it should. The customer service was wonderful, we can’t wait to book our next visit through Parkside.

Te cabin was very clean. Beds were comfortable .My questions were answered when I called . Trash was picked up promptly. Very good customer service . We enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose Parkside on our next visit. The only thing , we would like to be closer to town and not so far up in the mountains. It was a good experience though. Thank You.

We absolutely loved our stay at sunset memories. We loved how there was a sitting area upstairs and downstairs because my sister-in-law, brother and kids were able to get some family time together and my parents and I were able to get some quiet time. I think there should be more outdoor furniture because when we were all outside enjoying the amazing views, those on the couch were a bit squished, and there was no where for the kids to sit. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

The cabin was nice. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Plenty of room. The only complaint we had was the kitchen was not well stocked at all. Plates, glasses, cups and bowls were fine but need updated pots and pans and more of them especially since there were plenty of empty cabinets to store things like that. Cooking utensils also need to be updated and more of them. Check in and check out was very easy.

The cabin was really nice, I just wish we were told in advance about the ladybug infestation as well as the additional 30 minute drive to the actual cabin location. The activities we planned were based off the 122 address so changing plans last minute due to the distance was very inconvenient. Other than that we loved the stay

Everything was excellent, though the hot tub at Sunset Memories was disappointing because it is too small...made for 2 people only, families with children cannot enjoy together. Quite disappointing. Otherwise an excellent cabin.

The cabin kitchen was not as well-equipped as we hoped, (no oven mitts, no baking pans whatsoever and no good skillet) but the cabin was very clean and the customer service was outstanding!! Any concerns we had were addressed immediately and with a smile! The views were spectacular! From the time we made our reservation until the time we checked out the entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating! We would highly recommend your company to anyone wishing to have a positive experience! The downtown parking passes were definitely an added bonus! Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed at Sunset Memories. Beautiful cabin and beautiful view. The cabin was very clean, very nice beds. Easy check in and check out. We were a little short on bath towels and kitchen towels. There were only six forks so we had to keep washing for each meal. Overall, very good experience. We would use Parkside again.

My wife has early onset Alzheimer’s so I wasn’t sure how this was going to go. It turned out to be a fantastic experience for us and with all that she has going on we back home yesterday and she can remember how beautiful the cabin and its surroundings were. We even saw two black bears walking around the neighborhood. I also want to thank Corey for all of his help in choosing this outstanding cabin. I can’t tell you how much it meant to me seeing my wife so happy!

There were cockroaches in our cabin and then the left side of the porch was without power. The cockroach problem was delt with quickly. I have stayed with your company for 8 years. Will return next year.

Cabin location is very scenic and peaceful. Drive is little far from main Gatlinburg but worth it. Try to get there before dark if you coming first time to sunset memories cabin. We did see bears few time around. Cabin was very clean when we arrived and customer service was outstanding.

Parkside staff excellent for past 4 years! Past 3 years stayed same cabin, Sunset Memories. This year no broom, no hot pads, containers to put food in, etc. I left what I bought hopefully it will stay for everyone to use. Hate to think I have to bring my kitchen with me every year or buy while I am there. Sad if people are stealing kitchen items. Great experience otherwise.

The only complaint was or cabin was cleaned thoroughly when we arrived. BUT we went back and noticed the staff. JEFF fixed the situation by offering different lodging options ( another cabin) The other cabin was superb. Thanks JEFF!!!!!

It was a beautiful cabin, we had a great time. I would suggest supplying a broom in the closet for the kitchen floor. Also some extra trash bags in the cans would be helpful for the guest.

Cabin was beautiful! Views are indeed breathtaking! Only issue we had was there were soooooooooo many ants!!!! Ants everywhere!!! We left our son’s diaper bag on the floor overnight and when we woke up it was ants all over it. We threw it out. It was an expensive diaper bag at that. Cost us $100 bucks. Ants got into the formula powder too! They were all over. Like infested.

The latter was better than the first- Originally we booked Altitude Adjustment for the third week of June. Granted we are a multigenerational family staying together and we all put in for being off work. I received notice that our original cabin booked, Altitude Adjustment was sold. Similar accomodations could not be made in the time we put in to be off work. So, I made accomodations with Sunset Memories in July because there was no other time available in June. Our son and wife could not take that time off work. Which of course was terribly disappointing. Sunset Memories accomodations were very good. The view of the mountains was breathtaking.

The staff who checked us in wasn’t very friendly, but the cabin was beautiful, albeit 30 minutes from the tourist area. The sheets on the let out couches were dirty, but someone brought us fresh sheets that evening.

We loved the house and our stay. The hot tub should have been larger with a house that size. Wasn't enough room in the hot tub for everyone who went. It would have been nice to have a light at the end of the house for grilling at night. Those are the only things I would like to see changed. But loved our stay!

I truly liked their staff! Very pleasant and has a sense of humor! Our cabin was clean and the views were perfect! Very comfortable, from the beds to the sofas and out door furniture. I loved the fact that they have outdoor security lightning as we had a bear to walk up to the cabin. Took many great photos of Mr.bear. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely be booking more dates to come.

We throughly fell in love with the entire experience. The cabin was beautiful the view from out place was breathtaking. Unfortunately had to knock of one star for bad smell coming from the broiler in the stove. Seems iron skillet was left unwashed.

The only problem was that we should have been notified about the increased bear activity in that area, as we had an agressive bear that disrupted our stay about midnight. Was not able to utilize deck and hot tub because of the bears.

Friendly customer service, cabin was very clean and just as the pictures showed, only (slight) complaint was that the trees had grown quite a bit since the pictures were taken. Still a fantastic views though! And very conveniently located

WE loved the cabin and the beautiful views of the mountains and woods. The cabin met all our expectations. Our wives were thrilled with the very clean and nicely furnished 2 -bedroom cabin. Great wrap around porch. where we a spent time relaxing on rocking chairs and enjoying the gorgeous view. WE saw deer, a bear and numerous wild turkey while there. Wonderful experience! We will return.

Check in and out was quick and easy. Staff was friendly. We stayed in Sunset Memory. It was every thing we expected. Very clean and a beautiful location. We will be staying again!

It was a wonderful cabin. the staff was extremely friendly and easy to deal with. We were happy with the prices as well, especially compared to some of the other companies we had look at.. We will use Park Side Cabins again!

The cabin was exactly as described. The view was beautiful, and the the atmosphere was very peaceful. The deck was very large and accommodating. The only thing I would suggest is new floor registers...they were a bit rusty.

We loved the cabin and the spaciousness it had. A few issues we encountered were: the pans were wet when returned to the tray, the tv remotes did not have directions (we never got the bedroom tv to work), tons of soap was given, a few shampoos and no conditioner.

Other than a few cleanliness issues we witnessed upon first entering the cabin things were great. The view was phenomenal! The cabin was extremely peaceful. My only issue was the bees out around the deck are which took away from my experience due to my extreme allergies to bees. I know they are woodcutter bees which essentially ignore humans but I couldn't get over the anxiety to relax on the deck area.
