Squirrel's Nest

We have stayed in Parkside cabins since 2016. You’ve always been very helpful and every cabin we’ve rented has been great.

Cabin was clean and well supplied. The creek was so relaxing. Overall, our stay was exceptional.

Jeff is amazingly helpful. As always we loved every moment of our stay. Suggestion - your internet router may need a booster - it’s extremely weak inside the cabin. The house is growing a layer of dust on the mantle, refrigerator and blinds that needs to be cleaned. Thank you again for all your kindness. JEM

Everything was great, everything was very clean! They answered every question we had!

The only thing was the hot tub. It was so small. But we loved the cabin and location. Especially the deck with the rocking chairs and the river running. So relaxing.

Never a disappointment. Parkside is our go to when going to the smoky mountains.

It was very peaceful and relaxing! The creek was beautiful and we even got to see a mama bear and her cubs crossing the road on our way out on day. The beds were comfortable and I loved the shower!

Excellent customer service, super helpful and prompt answering a few questions. The process was very easy and the cabin fully met our needs.

The cabin was very clean and pleasant. Plenty of room for all my children, grandchildren and great grandkids to visit and play games. Bathrooms were spacious and kitchen was nice. Do wish there were a couple of plastic glasses for the younger kids though. The only issue we had was the dryer took a very long time to dry our clothes. Perhaps the dryer vent line should be checked.

Great! Only complaint would be no broom or basic cleaning supplies to just clean up!

Cabin was perfect. Loved the stream, very peaceful. Plan on staying here again!

As usual, friendly and responsive service. Great job continuing to do small upgrades to the cabin

They were so helpful. Clean and comfortable. The creek is beautiful. Enjoyed soaking in the hottub.

Everything was great except cobwebs bad, cupcake wrappers on floor

As always, friendly hospitality and great service. We love visiting here.

Your hospitality is always amazing. We absolutely love our Squirrel's Nest home in the mountains. Thanks also for providing wood for the fireplace. Finally, all of your staff are so friendly and helpful. We really appreciate that. I think we'll keep coming back for another 20 years.

Would suggest you provide staples like salt, pepper and coffee etc like the vrbos do

The most peaceful and beautiful place to stay! We even had a bear sighting. Felt very safe and secure in our cabin. Loved the back porch with the creek running just below.

Everything was more than I expected. The cabin was in great condition and the creek was a big plus. Will definitely be renting from you again. You were very prompt in picking up the trash when we asked you to. Very friendly people.

We love everything about Parkside...their cabins, their pricing, the amenities, their customer service, the cabins cleanliness...we'll always come back to Parkside for every GSMNP stay!!

Fabulous, as always! This is our 5th stay and #6 scheduled for the GSM Jeep Invasion in August.

Was one of if not the best experiences Very easy check in and out Cabin was perfect very easy to find and directions and signs made travel to it a breeze Will definitely be using yall again

Almost perfect. Will be back. Need more hot water though.

The cabin was very cozy and well equipped. The creek near by was very nice.

Everything was great but it definitely needs new pots & pans and a good scrub down! :)

The cabin was quite, clean and the beds were comfortable.

We love every visit here. We especially appreciated the mid-week delivery of firewood. The cabin was the cleanest we’ve ever seen it which is nice. Nothing but good things to say!

You did great, as always. We love all our visits here and are grateful for your hospitality. Thanks especially for the extra wood this trip - we deeply enjoyed all our fireside time. Looking forward to seeing you again in a couple of months. Holiday blessings to all of you.

Great experience thank you very much for the place to stay my family loved it

Our stay was excellent. Very quiet and clean. Staff were professional.

Everything was great easy check in. Cabin was a good drive away but was very nice!

Cabin and the location was awesome. The staff was very friendly at check in. They also did an awesome job on the phone when calling for garbage pickup. They were very helpful to time to answer any question I had. This was my third cabin rental through Parkside. I will be booking more cabins through parkside cabin rentals.

We love all our visits to Parkside and this was no exception. The ice maker at Squirrels Nest needs to be repaired, other than that, no issues at all.

Very nice, perfect cabin for 4, beautiful location. Scenery was excellent

Cabin was in a great location. We loved sitting on the back deck and listening to the creek run. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

The cabin was in good shape, keep and upkeep was good. Like the water level for a young child. It seemed a little pit far from most attractions but as we settled in, it was just right for us. Will stay again if we are able. Thanks

Check in staff was very nice and the cabin was relaxing. Thank you

The cabin was very clean and cozy. Really enjoyed it.

Nice improvements in the cabin. Appreciate the upkeep. Excellent location and settings

Always great cabins and a wonderful staff! Will always choose Parkside Cabin Rentals!

Very nice cabin and location away from town. The Creek was amazing!!! (Squirrels nest)

Our cabin was the perfect size for us. We really enjoyed sitting out & listening to the creek!

We had a wonderful stay at the Squirrel's Nest cabin. It was quiet, clean and cozy and we loved the location on Webb's Creek away from the bustle of the city. This was our first trip to Gatlinburg and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Two minor issues, the cabin needs more coffee mugs. There were only four. Also, there were no hangars in the closets. Otherwise, the cabin was well appointed. The cabin has a wood burning fireplace and the odor bothered me as I am sensitive to scents. Parkside Rentals did a great job. We'll be back again!

We always enjoy staying at Squirrels Nest. Comfortable and quite

Beautiful location . Quiet, cozy, clean and very friendly office staff.

We loved the cabin and the creek was awesome. Definitely will be going back again soon.Thank you for everything. besides the previous tenants prescription being left behind and not found while cleaning and fans needed to be cleaned but other than that it was great.

Checking in and out was very smooth. The cabin has great signs which allowed us to early find the cabin with the directions we had been given. One of the tvs did not work in the bedroom which was a bummer. Might want to also update the sheet to say that the pizza places only deliver to certain cabins as they did not to us.

For 13 years we have enjoyed our trips to Brookside and Squirrel's Nest. This is our sanctuary away from busy, yet meaningful lives. Your staff have always been kind and accommodating to us, which we deeply appreciate. We have trips booked out all through next year and will continue to do so. Thank you for being one of our homes away from home.

Everything good just need pot holders and dish rags and towels for kitchen

Great place! Not too far from town but far enough. Nice to have the free parking coupon. Beautiful spot on creek.

Always a great place to stay! I love staying at parkside cabins.

Wonderful place, sucks it rained most of the time but the creek behind the cabin was awesome. Hot tub was real nice too along with both jacuzzi tubs!

Awesome our stay was perfect I couldn’t have been more pleased

Our stay was awesome. We stayed at the squirrels nest and everything was as advertised. The creek beside it was amazing as well. We didn’t want to leave!

Excellent service. Check in was easy. Nice staff. Booked another trip for October.

Our stay was excellent! We always have a great time staying in one of Parkside’s cabins. They are always clean, and they feel like home.

We've been to the Smokies 6x, and while we never had a bad experience with cabin rentals, the customer service with Parkside was phenomenal, and we will always choose you guys going forward. Thank you for accommodating a change in weeks due to terrible weather! The parking passes were a surprise treat and came in so handy. Honestly, everything about the experience was 100%.

Our cabin was perfect! I wish we would have know about the coffee maker! I would have brought kcups! Also, it was unnecessary for us to go all the way into town to get the pin code. All that would have saved us 11/2 hours.

We loved your place. It was very comfortable and clean and beautifully located away from the hustle and bustle experienced in town. Thank you for making it feel like home!

Everything went smoothly in booking and checking in to the cabin along with checking out. Customer service was nice and willing to go the extra mile for their customers. I recommend then highly to anyone who wants to stay in their cabins. Cabins were nice and clean. They had the lights test for you when coming in late at night. Really appreciated that gesture. Thank you Park Side!

Y'all did great. And the cabin was nice and it was in a quite location.

Above and beyond ! …..and you guys care, it’s not just a job.

Cabin was very nice and clean the staff did a great job office staff was very nice and we have rented with Parkside a lot over the years and always our go to if we are going to mountains

The sound of the river was really nice so was the hot tub. Thank you for letting us hospitality.

The cabin was very nice and very clean. We were extremely happy with the rental and Parkside. Staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately during our stay my wife got very sick and we had to call an ambulance to the site. While they were caring for her she knocked a drink off of the table and when I went to clean it there were only a couple small dish cloths and no cleaning supplies. So my only suggestion would be to keep a spray bottle of multipurpose cleaner and a few wipe cloths. Even though we had personal issues we were very pleased with our choice to use Parkside

Staff was welcoming and great to talk to when we arrived at the office. Also very informative. We again loved the cabin and fireplace. Hopefully on our next trip we can get a cabin close to pigeon forge are through you. We also enjoy your cabins.

Very nice accommodations. Clean and well stocked. There was an issue with the property we were supposed to stay at and they switched us with no problem and we loved Squirrel’s Nest.

Always very comfortable beautiful spot probably could use more wood. I’m sure if you ask them they’ll give it to you right away otherwise absolutely beautiful.

Nice cabin. Enjoyed. Kitchen needs furnished better for those that want to cook.

As always, the staff at Parkside treated us with the ultimate kindness and professionalism. We've been visiting here for 10 years and have never been disappointed. The new living room furniture at Squirrels Nest is very nice and makes that room much more comfortable. I also appreciate you being willing to receive packages for me at your office since UPS can't seem to find the cabin.

The folks in office was very nice and helpful. We was very pleased with cabin.

Had trouble finding the cabin and no one knew how to direct me to it. The mattress in both rooms were extremely uncomfortable but other then those two issues everything was great. Cabin was beautiful and clean.

Nice cabin…directions were great. Location was just what we wanted. Wish there were alarm clocks in bedrooms though

Was a great cabin but the past guest put password on movie channels and couldn’t watch even ghostbusters

We love Parkside and particularly Squirrel's Next. The staff always treat us well and are very friendly. We did have a bit of an issue getting the trash picked up over the weekend - we called and no one came which led to a horrific smell. That's unusual, however, as service is usually perfect. We look forward to our Thanksgiving visit in just a couple of months.

Everything was wonderful. Our family is always happy and excited when we arrive. Cabins are always clean and cozy.

The cabin was beautiful! Loved the creek behind it. Took some beautiful pictures! We very much enjoyed pool table. The pockets on the pool table needs to be fixed. Thankful for the washer and dryer. Overall a great experience.

First let me say, we loved the location and the setting. Very quiet with beautiful outdoor surroundings. The cabin was really great having two large bedrooms and baths, and really enjoyed the pool table. I would say the things that should be addressed is the following: Remove the ashes from the fireplace during the months not being used, it smelled the house up. The house needs to be sprayed as there were many black ants. Clean the vent dryer out after each rental. And one big thing is to replace the mattress's the one off to the right from the front door is super bad on one side. I could not sleep the first night and ended up in the other bedroom. I know that sounds like a lot of bad, but I feel like we would love to go back to the cabin if these things could be addressed. Thank you, Mary Emmerling

Pros: Great location and house layout. Loved being by the river. Easy, friendly and welcoming check-in. Easy check-out. Information packet informative with easy to follow guidelines and directions. Cons: House needed sweeping. Two dirty frying pans in cabinet. Same 2 pans were past the point of needed replacing. The lid on the bucket with ashes was partially off and house reeked of dirty ashes.

The cabin was beautiful! Comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped. The stream off the deck was stunning and so relaxing. This was my 2nd stay at a Parkside cabin and I will continue to be a return customer!

We always enjoy our visits to "the creek" as we call it. Squirrels Nest is one of our favorite places to be anywhere. I'm so happy you replaced some of the old cookware - major improvement. Staff are always friendly and helpful. We can't wait for our next trip.

This is our 2nd time staying with ya'll and it was another good stay.

Over all stay was great! The bedroom with the French doors needed some attention. The bed was very noisy every time you moved or turned over in it. The ceiling fan was also noisy making it hard to keep the baby asleep in the pack in play. They ice machine was also broken which you had to open the ice bin to get the ice and often ice would fall on the floor. These were just some small issues that we noted. We enjoyed our stay otherwise. Ashlee

The stay in our cabin was comfort and clean. The staff at the office was very friendly and helpful. We hope to come back in spring and stay longer.

I appreciate the outstanding and friendly service we receive during each of our visits. The cabin was the cleanest it has ever been this time, you delivered on the extra dining room chair for my guests, extra linens for the sleeper sofa and covered every detail. Thank you so much!

We are very fond of you all at Parkside. Since we come often, I am in communication with your staff on a fairly regular basis. Whether I'm booking a new reservation or need a copy of a confirmation I've misplaced, your folks are always professional and friendly. Even when I ask for an extra detail - like perhaps an extra dining room chair, some attention to a cleaning detail, or when a bear - yes it did happen - gets in our trash, you all respond quickly and seem happy to do so. Finally, I love Webb's Creek. Brookside was my favorite until I had knee surgery. We then moved to Squirrell's Nest because of much fewer steps. We love it, too. Thanks so much for your hospitality, we'll see you next month.

Handrails on the front steps would be most helpful. In the rain, with wet leaves on the steps, if you start to slip at all, there's nothing to really grab or hold onto. The boards are too wide to really hold onto.

We always love staying at your cabins. we trust you. Thanks

We love all our visits with you all. As I mentioned to the staff member this morning, some of the kitchen items are missing - there are no baking pans left there - or at least I couldn't find them in their usual places. We can't wait to see you all again in October. Thanks for your usual good hospitality.

The staff and service was great, we could not have been taken care of better.

We always enjoy our visits to your cabins. From the reservation experience, to advance communication, including the check-in experience, the entire experience works smoothly. We love the cabins on Webb's Creek and come back very often.

I’ve used Parkside for several years now and always had great experiences. The staff is always friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the cabins could use a better deep cleaning. They usually have dirt and dust in all the corners pushed up against the base boards.

We had a nice experience with Parkside Cabin Rentals. We stayed in the Squirrels Nest cabin. The cabin was clean, the stream running behind the cabin was wonderful and the fire pit was great. The only issue we had was the heat and air was not working. We reported it and a maintenance person came right away. They had it fixed very quickly. The weather was nice so it wasn’t a big deal, we just wanted to make sure they knew about it. Overall we loved it and really enjoyed our stay!

Cabin was ok. Dishwasher did not work. Ran it twice and dishes were still as dirty as when I put them in. Oven does not heat up correctly. It said it was preheated but was barely warm inside. Light fixture on the ceiling fan in the bedroom was hanging by a wire. Unclear on what to do with the trash. Check out paper said not to leave it in the outside trash cans so we brought them in when we left. Should have secured trash receptacle outside so you don't have to worry about animals. We enjoyed the patio and the steps to the stream are great!! We will be back!

Cabin was clean and stocked well. It was quiet and an amazing location.

parkside has always been great rental place for me and my family customer service is great our go to every time we want to rent a cabin

Check in staff were pleasant. Cabin was clean & comfortable.

Directions to cabin were clear - no problem finding our way there. Cabin was stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, bathrooms towels, and sheets on both beds. All the rooms in the cabin were clean.

The cabin was exactly as it looked on the website. It was clean and the fire place was amazing. The firewood was a little low when we arrived but we called and they were there within the hour! They were very friendly.

Checking in, directions and goodie bag were great. Squirrels Nest was perfect for us. Rugged beauty off the beaten path. Loved the vintage rock work around creek. We were vexed on the hot tub operations. It seemed to run a lot more than it should when not in use and the fridge was freezing our food and drinks. We turned it to the warmest setting, but it didn't seem to make a difference. Both of these are running up the electric bill, so less profit for you guy's. Might want to see about it. Thanks for the firewood. Didn't expect to see that. Major plus!!!

Outstanding customer service! Arrived in town early, staff called to let us know our cabin was ready, prior to normal 4pm check in.

We jh ad a wonderful cabin, nice and clean, do relaxing.

Enjoyed the stay. Everything was what we expected. The creek was great.

Been staying all around for the past 8 years and this was the first time he seen a bear at the cabin within 15 feet.

We love the cabin, the pool table was very nice during the rainy evening, great setting and clean... Thank You!!

Superb; best cabin we have ever had the privilege of vacationing in

Great location, private but easy access to main road, gatlinburg etc.

All was well except for a good knife and cutting board. These are essentials that should always be available. Otherwise, great stay!

Check in quick and efficient. I particularly enjoyed the packet of information including medical resources in the area. The discounts/coupons were great too!

The cabin was beautiful and staff were great, will visit again!

AWESOME!!!! Absolutely loved the cabin and the staff was courteous, friendly and fun..

The experience was excellent! House was exactly as it eas showed on the website, clean, well maintained, nicely located. Definitely recommended and I would stay here again.

Cabin was fantastic. Staff was great. Will definitely stay here again.

Loved squirrel's nest! The cabin was wonderful: clean, spacious, and fun amenities like a hot tub and pool table. A huge hit with our kids. We wish there were a few more staple items in the cabin's kitchen like salt, pepper, and cookie sheets.

We had a wonderful time at squirrel nest cabin was clean loved the creek right outside staff friendly as always can't wait to be back in October thanks

Everyone was nice and friendly. Thanks for making our first stay in a cabin great. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Check in and out were smooth. Price was great. Cabin was WONDERFUL.

The office staff was friendly and helpful as always. The cabin was exactly as described. We will definitely stay with Parkside again.

LOVED the cabin. Nice big bedrooms. The creek is awesome! We loved the fire pit!

Everything was great!Very nice and helpful staff and the cabin was wonderful!

Staff friendly. Cabin clean and comfortable. Beds excllent. Love the location.

Perfect, it was a wonderful experience, would love to visit again!

We loved the cabin and the little stream behind it.

The cabin was very neat, clean and surprisingly very spacious.

Staff were very nice and accomodating, cabin was very clean and had olenty of room.

Beautiful cabin, very clean. Will definitely return. Easy to find. Beautiful creek right outside the doors.

Great cabin at good value as always. Would recommend to friends.

All was good! Only thing missing was, we weren't aloud to burn inside the cabins fire place, or outside because of the burn band. But we do understand why! The town has been through a lot in the last few weeks! But always nice to have a fire on these cold nights! Stay strong Gatlinburg!!! We will be back!

Cabin was very clean. Great location Very easy directions to reach cabin. Very courteous of rental staff. Had a great time. Looking forward to returning

Recommend cleaning chimney (smoke wouldn't draw upwards, came out into cabin, got overwhelmingly smokey). Recommend seeing why washing machine and dishwasher reeked. Otherwise it was very good. We love staying here it is so peaceful.

great , we had a good time every thing was clean

The Squirrel's nest was the nicest cabin I have stayed in during a visit to the mountains. I was very clean and all of the staff in the office was so friendly! We are already planning for next year!

The cottage was nice. Smaller than what the pictures make it appear, but adequate. We did enjoy our stay. The blinds need to be dusted throughout the cottage and the baseboards need to be cleaned, as well.

It was very nice. We will come back and stay again

Amazing. The cabin and area was gorgeous. Office was so helpful with allowing us to check in a little early since we were exhausted from our drive from Houston. Will definitely recommend.

Loved the property...staff was efficient and pleasant...clean, well maintained...nice that paper products and soap were provided...kitchen was missing some larger coffee mugs..missed the promised firewood, ended up buying our own

Enjoyed our stay very much loved being on the creek and outdoor fire pit kids had a blast Will be returning to this cabin

Thanks much for letting switch cabins at the last minute

We rented a cabin for a girls weekend and celebrate our birthdays!!! The cabin was absolutely perfect and we loved hearing the creek rumble. We will totally be coming back to this cabin. The setting was peaceful and amazing. Thank you

People WONDERFUL to deal with. However, cabin could have been cleaner.

The office staff was friendly and helpful. Check in and out was easy. We had a problem with the charcoal grill. It was old and could not be used safely. The maintenance people showed up and replaced the grill with a brand new one.

The cabin (squirrels nest) was very nice. Based on the pictures we did think we would be in a more secluded area, but we're not bothered by any of the neighbors. Staff was very pleasant during check in and out process.

The cabin was awesome. We loved the deck overlooking the mountain stream. The cabin was very clean and well supplied with plenty of linens. Also loved the hot tub.

Trash can at rear was full of stale beer cans/bottles. Floor was dirty. Overall, we were satisfied. Cabin photos were a bit deceptive, not as secluded as shown.

One of the best trips we ever took! I wish we had a couple more pots and pans to cook with but everything else was readily available to use and it was a beautiful trip

Cabin was very nice. Could have done without the bear visits

Staffing was very attentive to our minor requests. They fulfilled them very promptly! We are in the process of rebooking with Parkside Cabin Rentals for our trip back to Gatlinburg in the Autumn. Thank you for your services!

The cabin was very nice and clean, lots of room for a family . Enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Only down side, was not a lot at pans to cook with. Will definitely stay again

The cabin was absolutely wonderful. It was well kept, clean, up to date, and supplied with all that we needed. It was also a decent distance from activities. Easy check in/out process and affordable. Will definitely be booking with Parkside rentals again.

Directions to cabin were easy. cabin was nice but not super clean (black stuff came out of jacuzzi tubs water return thing and mold in master shower. fireplace outside was full of burned wood and trash and dirty rugs and dust bunnies all over). Had to add water to hot tub because it was too low for jets to work. Batteries missing in main remote control. Thought it would bend nicer and cleaner for the amount of money we spent over the holidays. We still enjoyed ourselves.
