Why Choose Us
Set directly on the river with private access to one of the best swimming spots in Pittman Center, this beautiful cabin offers a relaxing setting for a family getaway or peaceful retreat.
A covered outdoor living area welcomes you on arrival, complete with seating, a large flat-screen TV, and a pool table—perfect for evenings spent unwinding or enjoying time together.
Inside, the single-level layout features three bedrooms, including two king rooms and one queen, each with its own bathroom. Two bathrooms offer walk-in showers, while the third includes a jacuzzi tub/shower combo. Additional sleeping space is provided by a sleeper sofa, in the living area. The cabin features two living spaces separated by a wood-burning fireplace (one for each area), offering plenty of room to relax and gather. One living area is highlighted by a wall of windows overlooking the river, bringing the outdoors in.
Step outside to fully experience the setting. Relax on the deck positioned over the water, gather around the fire pit, or take the staircase down for direct access to the river.
The main cabin accommodates up to 10 guests, and a separate side building provides additional sleeping for up to four older children, with supervision recommended due to its detached layout.
Located within about 20 minutes of Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, this cabin combines unique riverfront access with comfort and space for a memorable stay.

The cabin was fantastic. River views were amazing, and the only negative I can say is that I still believe that there is a rattlesnake in the chimney. We didn't care the time because thought it was funny and let's face it, it was August. Also I reported it, but a bear attacked while we were there and destroyed one of the floats that were left.

We LOVE this cabin!! This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at Rippling Waters and our 3rd time with Parkside Cabins. Their cabins are well maintained and beautiful! Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need! You can walk right out the back door and a few steps to a deck overlooking the river. We sat out there every morning and drank coffee and enjoyed the peaceful sounds of the river and the birds. It’s a little piece of paradise and just a few minutes outside of Gatlinburg in Pittman Center with the cutest little covered bridge about a mile from the cabin. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here!!

We love the experience and the cabin. We plan to come back at least two or three times a year ! I love that the river is right in the backyard . It's so nice and quiet , and accommodations were wonderful . It would be nice if you would provide firewood at least a little bit of firewood, especially during the seasons when the cost is over $400 a night, and while we didn't mind loading the dishwasher and washing dishes, it would be nice not to have to stack them back up. Maybe the people who come and change the linen and stuff could do that? People come to escape the" have tos " of life, you know? We were pleased that we didn't have to strip the beds or take the garbage outside. And if you'll fix that broken pool stick, I can beat my friend at pool again on our next visit! I love the fire pit, the fireplace, that everybody had their own bedroom and bathroom, the hot tub wouldn't get very hot because there's something wrong with the buttons, it was below body temperature but we enjoyed it for a few minutes until we couldn't take it anymore. We can't wait to come back, and again we will be visiting at least 2 or 3 times a year. Thank you for a wonderful experience. It was fantastic!

We are regulars to the Smokey Mountains and at Parkside cabin rentals. The customer service is second to none! Such friendly folks and always ready to handle any issue only we rarely have ever had any! Cabins are clean, beautifully furnished and we located for whatever you need, they have a cabin for you. We will never stay anywhere else but a Parkside cabin.

The cabin was amazing however the entire cabin smelled like wood smoke because one panel of glass was missing from one of the fireplaces (clearly the most used). Appliances were great however cooking utensils and pots and pans were not good. The property is gorgeous. There were only sheets for the sleeper sofas, no blankets or pillows. The furniture is very comfy. The property is very handicapped accessible and the firepit is easy to get to.

We vacationed with our older teens/adult children and friends. What a perfect spot! The house was clean with plenty of linens. Bring a couple pans, pots if you plan to cook. Plates, cups, utensils were plentiful!. We experienced everything we planned in the Smokies, hikes, history, bears. We also enjoyed plenty of time floating on tubes in that beautiful, perfectly clear Little Pigeon River out back. It’s like a giant natural swimming pool! A local told us the renovations on the bridge close to the house should be done within 45 days. The detour added a good 20 minutes to our drive, windy mountain road, be careful! Thanks Parkside Cabins. We will recommend!

Beautiful cabin! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If I had to say something negative it would be that the cabin could use better pots and pans and frying pans. We made due with the ones there but they weren't the best. The yard also needed cutting (of course we did visit right after a HUGE STORM). I highly recommend the cabin, especially to larger groups.... Oh and the pillows weren't great. We ended up buying pillows during our shopping trip.

Breathtaking scenery, beautiful, spacious, and comfortable accommodations, perfect setting for making memories with loved ones. We were a bit bummed about the bridge being out and having to detour on the back roads until we drove them. The hairpin turns and winding twisty roads deep in the woods just contributed to the feel of isolation, which we loved. We will be back.

Rippling Waters is a perfect pkace for our family. We enjoy it because its near other family in an annual reunion setting where we get together for hikes or other events during the day and dinners together each night. We did have a few maint. Issues and i gave them over the phone on Sunday when we checked out. If you dont have them please call me on this number and ill give them again to You. The place is near Grassy Branch Bridge which was shut down due to recent flooding. To get to it one must take Grassy Branch Rd to get to Hook Rd where its located. This rd is Narrow and requires caution and extra time. We have a nearby and resident Racoon that tries to eat our garbage. Recommend you notify other future residents to secure and bagged garbage that it will get torn up by this racoon. Hope you fix this by 2 large containers that are similar to ones you put out to prevent bears from garbage. The small out building needs a new Water heater as the water smells like sulfur. It also has colonies of ants that come out at night. All in all, a perfect place for my family. We rented it last year and i just rented it for a 3rd time next year. Thanks for being responsive to our needs each time i called. I will request again a check in over the phone as it saves so much not coming to your office in Gatlinburg on a Saturday where traffic is so difficult. From reservations to check-in everything went smoothly and everyone was great! The cabin was absolutely beautiful, just as described and very clean! The family had a great time from the kids through adults there was something for everyone at the cabin! We will rent from Parkside again and are already looking at dates for next year!

This cabin is AMAZING!! The layout, the space, the furniture, the quality of the beds, the bathrooms, the hot tub, the view, the small private beach on the river... just PERFECT!

What a wonderful place! Very well thought out design. The only thing lacking was having an electric griddle for breakfast making for 8 people. Skillets were small and not very good. We tried turning up the water heater but couldn’t find the dial. I felt we wasted water waiting for hot water. Great place would definitely recommend this great place

We had a very nice time and enjoyed the location. Only one minor problem. The bed we slept in the springs were very noisy. Every time I got up I woke up my husband and vice versa. Also we had no hangers. Should we have brought our own?

Someone in our group had an issue with driving to our original cabin. Switching to an alternate rental was super easy. This is our second time staying with parkside cabin rentals and definitely will not be the last.
