The cabin was nice a couple of maintenance issues, but the dog at the cabin above us barked all Tuesday night and Wednesday morning!

Comfortable cabin and convenient location. However, the bear family behind the cabin compromises visitors’ safety and there are NO safeguards. Railings on both sides of the porch — or bubble mirrors might be helpful since the bears can come around onto the porch without warning. These bears are very bold and were up and around the cabin every day. We saw bear scat behind our cabin twice. At first, we were glad to see the bears, but seeing how bold they are, and how exposed we were, unfortunately dampened our experience.

Everything was as promoted on the website. Read it carefully and you'll be all set. The house number mix up was surprise to both us and you.

Great cabin. There are no pot holders and there were only 4 spoons? Also the ice dispenser doesn't work. But we had a great time and loved the cabin and hot tub.

The cabin was perfect. Check in was a breeze. Our only small complaint was we wish there was more privacy in the hot tub area with the cabin on the hill behind us. Other than that it was wonderful. We got to see several bears outside one morning!

When we registered in Gatlinburg the man was very helpful and informative. He explained everything clearly.

Cabin was clean and ready for our arrival as always. On a side note-the tree in the right front yard is split at the trunk and leaning toward the road and electrical lines.

Cabin and Hot tub were very clean. Access was difficult due to steep incline into driveway. All staff was accessible and friendly.

We’ve stayed at Parkside many times and really like it. The staff are always kind and helpful. Our stay at Lazy Bear was great. Only thing negative was there were no window coverings on a bedroom window or the 3 glass paned doors. It was eerie at night. For that reason I wouldn’t stay there again. We will continue to use Parkside though. The parking passes are a wonderful incentive.

Third time we have booked through Parkside and every time it has been the easiest process to check in and out. Every cabin we have stayed in has been clean, comfortable, and just a wonderful experience all around.

The only thing I have to complain about is the tvs I mean there was nothing to watch and I found someone’s socks and blood in the couch that folds to a bed but I know how that goes so I def recommend the cabin just think you need to have your cleaning team pay better attention to details cause you very well could of had someone freak out over that the ppl at the desk were hands down amazing

We enjoyed our stay at your cabin. You had warned us that the driveway was steep so we were prepared. The cabin was well furnished and extremely clean, which was important to us. Your refrigerator was large, and there were plenty of paper products, and laundry soap. Having a washer and dryer helped immensely. The beds were extremely comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise and the sheets and comforters were soft. It was nice to have a wood-burning fireplace… Even though we could not use it due to the drought. We felt very safe in the cabin and definitely felt as if we were Enjoying the forest and, simultaneously, near the city we enjoyed the communication with your office and the easy check in and check out. Also, my husband enjoyed the parking coupons… Thank you!

We had a great stay… we loved the cabin, it was very peaceful.

Overall it was a great stay. There are just a few things that need attention in the cabin such as significant cobwebs in every room as well as the floors desperately need swept under the furniture (lost a shoe under a couch and found food & dirt under that was not from us.) Lastly, the entrance door keypad was extraordinarily difficult & temperamental to use. We’re not new to locks like that but it seemed to only work every 5th or so time trying it. Finally figured out a crazy sequence of door handle movements that made it successful more often. Was pretty frustrating. Again, overall it was a great stay and we would stay again.

A few things needed repair ie the ice maker,master bath toilet leaked and a lamp in the bedroom did no work but over all it’s wonderful!

Everything is fine. We didn't have any complaints. Enjoyed seeing the Bear come by daily.

check in and check out was good. Cabin was clean except for a few spiders and webs. Did have an issue with the master bedroom toilet where the stopper was leaking water into the bowl. Had to manually adjust inside the tank for it to stop running. I did call to report this issue our first day. This really should be fixed and replace the stopper inside the tank. This was our only real issue.

Our stay for the past three nights at The Lazy Bear Cabin was exceptional! The cabin was clean and had anything we needed. Loved the Hot Tub and the wraparound porch. We sat in the rockers every morning with coffee and at night with a glass of wine. The firepit was also very nice. Check in was super easy and Jeff was excellent at giving us great places to go eat! One of our favorites was Tennessee Jeds for the best Ruben my husband says he's had in years! They also provided us with parking passes for FREE parking that was a Huge savings! The cabin is very private yet you can be in town in minutes. Overall the stay was amazing and it made our anniversary trip just perfect. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was in good condition, and the staff was extremely friendly and responsive to any needs we had.

Everything great except steep driveway but expected it from the reviews, I heard about it.

Very accommodating. Informative of good restaurants in the area. Cabin was clean and very nice. The only issue we had was the toilet in the back wouldn’t fill up enough.

Had all the amenities Dryer lint was very clogged though someone should check it out

Everything was good thank goodness that as cold as it was upon arrival at night it was 2 degrees and we did not loos power

The only thing I found dirty was the pull out couch…. Their was crumbs of food on the mattress. Maybe more water pressure , Other than that it was a nice stay

Excellent! Loved the cabin, loved the customer service! Would definitely go back; the only complaint I had was that when the jets on the bathtub were turned on, black mold came shooting out, which was discouraging, but just turned it off and did regular baths.

The staff and cabin was great with a few minor exceptions. The front door lock was very difficult to use most times. The batteries need to be replaced or the lock itself. Second, the filter for the fridge definitely needs to be replaced, there needs to be some pot holders in the kitchen to use when things are in the oven, and lastly the toilet in the master probably needs the flush valve replaced. It will run and refill all on its own

Everything was perfect, second time we rented same cabin. No bedding for fold out couch but was remedied very quickly.

Customer service at check in was exceptional. He was very friendly and accommodating. Cabin was really nice but not very clean. There was paper in the floor and lots of dust. We would stay again but might want to check behind the cleaning crew.

Booking the reservation online was easy. I wish there was a more detailed map/location of the cabins.

Cabin was very clean and very beautiful. Check in was easy. One thing you might want to tell renters. VERY STEEP DRIVEWAY. Also no phone service with Verizon. Text message works. Also about a 5 inch diameter tree has fallen going up driveway on right near the top and needs to be cut. A high setting vehicle can not clear and will soon fall in driveway.

Everything was perfect! We could've just stayed in the cabin our whole vacation if it wasn't for the kids! Loved the whole experience. We'll definitely be back next year

I also appreciated that there was an abundance of pre split, fire wood for the fire pit and the view from the deck was amazing. The close proximity to downtown was also a huge plus. Overall the experience was good. A few problems, some of which are not your fault. 1. Could not turn of CC in main bedroom. 2. The driveway to cabin was unexpected. You should warn potential renters of the steepness of the driveway. 3. Had an early morning visitor of the four footed variety. Cousin goes by the name of Yogi.

We were very pleased with our overall experience with a Parkside rentals. Our cabin, Lazy Bear was spotlessly clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The first morning we were there we noticed that our coffee pot was missing the actual coffee pot, and they immediately brought us a new one. Also they came quickly when our trash needed picked up, no need to put your trash outside, they came inside and collected it. Everyone we spoke with was very polite and helpful, would definitely use this company again

Our stay was wonderful. Check in and check out were very easy. The cabin was clean and well organized. It looked exactly as it was pictured online. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, especially the coffee makers. The only issue we had was filling the tub in the master bath. It took so long, we finally gave up.

Excellent, we had a visitor Saturday night, we think a bear on the porch and car. Saw one Friday and three Saturday. Really like the cabin and location.

I was very pleased the moment that I arrived at the Lazy Bear cabin. Everything that we needed to feel at home was available in our cabin. I was also impressed with how clean our cabin was. I felt as though the staff was very professional and took pride in their efforts to make sure our stay was comfortable. If I could give this company a rating of 10, I definitely would. This was my first cabin trip and I definitely feel I would take that trip to Tennessee every year and stay in the same cabin. Thank you every for making my stay very positive and memorable.

We loved our cabin. It was a cute little secluded cabin in the woods that we were hoping for. It is conveniently located close to Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge.

With the exception of the construction around the cabin starting early in the morning and the steep driveway that was not mentioned anywehere, I would rate the overall experience as very good.

Wonderful. Loved the cabin. Office staff was friendly and helpful. However, cabin was not marked clearly and we had a hard time finding it the first night. We had a good laugh about that adventure all week. We saw a baby bear that night too, which thrilled my in-laws since it was their first trip to the mountains. It was a wonderful trip and we have special memories of the Lazy Bear cabin.

Everything was very nice. We enjoyed our stay and will be looking forward to our next stay with you. The only complaint I have is we had a late check in and when we arrived we wanted to have a fire in the fireplace and there was no matches or lighter to start the fire with and we also had to really dig to the bottom of the wood pile to find good dry wood.

We loved the cabin amenities and its location close to town. The driveway is very very steep so not recommended for children. The hot tub is a wonderful and made our stay in the woods almost perfect.

Renting the cabin was easy. The check in and out was a very smooth process. Everyone was pleasant.

Our cabin was everything we expected based on the pictures from the website. I will say I was not happy to know that one of our two showers was not working appropriately however for our family of four it wasn't an issue and we never addressed it with the facility directors until we left so it's possible they would've fixed it immediately. It was very reasonably priced for what we experienced. I will also note that our cabin was clearly recently new or newly renovated so for us that was part of the lovely experience. We had family that rented another cabin from the same company that was not happy with their cabin based on pictures (expectations) and was not close to ours as indicated to them upon rental. Overall I would rent from this outfit again but I might ask more details or do more research on the cabin I was renting from all outfitters in the area. Overall for us it was a lovely experience from start to finish in this area for our wedding vacation with family. Thanks to gatlinburg and all of its local people and businesses!

Staff was excellent, cabin was clean, and easy to access.

Friendly staff and very nice cabin. Only complaint was had to fix/clean some things myself. Jacuzzi tub was dirty, hot tubs water was very low and had a hairball the size of a squirrel. And had to clean cobwebs with a broom.

Checkin / Out was great, cabin was clean and nice, hot tub kinda had a odor and wasn't very hot.

The cabin was in pretty good shape when we got there - certainly had everything we needed. (There were a few places that didn't look like it had seen a broom or dust rage - but nothing that would keep me away.) All staff personnel I came into contact with were more than helpful and hospitable! Thank you so much. We enjoyed the fireplace, the hot tub, and the Jacuzzi - the information about things to do!

Everything except the hot tub was great. The Lazy Bear was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Check-in was easy and directions to cabin were easy to follow. The drive way is very steep to the piont of possible being dangerous, a parking area right of the road with a step/tiered walkway should be considered. This would help in the winter and provide a safer access for guest who may want to walk. The hot tub was awefull, The cover was difficult to use and the water was cloudy and smelled nasty. I drained and refilled to our satisfaction. This was mentioned at check out, the lady working mumbled something and said to have a safe trip home, ok. All'n'all great job.

Staff was beyond helpful and attentive. *** however- we stayed in Lazy Bear. The home owner needs to fix the driveway. Large pot hole in middle of turn that then has sharp incline . We have SUV , it was wet and we literally almost slid over the hill. We then forward parked and walked. Very inconvenient . Very DANGEROUS !!!!!!!!

Had gr8 time! Cabin was perfect for our needs! Grandkids loved the hot tub! Everything was provided and hope we will be back next year:)
