Hawks Crest is a 5-bedroom cabin located just a short 5-minute drive from downtown Gatlinburg, offering a balance of comfort, space, and convenience.
The upper level features a large living area with leather seating and a flat-screen TV, along with a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious dining area. This level also includes four bedrooms - three with king beds and one with a queen. Several bedrooms offer private bathrooms, in-room jacuzzi tubs, and electric fireplaces, adding an extra level of comfort and privacy. Step outside to the covered upper porch to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Never got the fireplace in the main room to work. 2 repairman came and it worked until they left. Need better lighting in the downstairs main room. Several water leaks in bathrooms.

Everything was great. The cabin was just as described, clean, and stocked with enough supplies for the duration of our stay ( foe example, toilet paper, paper towels, soap etc.) Thank you for a worry-free stay.

514 Hawks trace was a very nice property, although lots of spiders. Need to be dusted, shower curtains need to changed out. Downstairs shower by the laundry room was full of spiderwebs. No remote for downstairs living area. Saturday we were greeted by a bear.

The cabin we reserved was not a good fit for the six of us so we called the office and they graciously recommended another (Hawks. Crest) and it was perfect! i highly recommend staying at Parkside Cabin Rentals!

The Hawk’s Crest cabin was perfect for our gathering. It was clean and in excellent condition. We would stay there again. The only negatives were the ice maker upstairs didn’t work and the TV cable box in our bedroom didn’t work, both of which were a little inconvenient. The team responded in a timely fashion & were very nice, but couldn’t fix the problems during our stay. Trash pickup was also prompt. Filling the large pothole at the bottom of the driveway would be good also.

The cabin and setting were beautiful! However, the cabin was dirty! Cobwebs on every lamp, light fixture, floor, everything needs cleaning to to bottom. Shower curtains were moldy, dirty, and torn! Refrigerator was leaking water ! Called repair man! Two electric fireplaces did not work. Hair in shower downstairs!

check in was great. Cabin was in great condition. The only issue we had was that internet was working fine while we were there. We were told someone would come during our stay to exchange the router. When the guy came, he was there most of the day and in the end actually broke the internet. He was never able to restore service once he disconnected so we were without internet the whole day and part of next. I do appreciate though once we explained situation we were given a hot spot to use.

Nice accommodations. Nice beds and the cabin worked well for our family. Only a couple of things to note. The one bedroom didn’t have a dresser in it. Hot tub had a musty odor to it and left our suits smelling musty even after washing.

Check in was fast. The people in the office were friendly and gave us good directions to the cabin. At the cabin we had plenty of parking for our 4 vehicles. The house had plenty of room for 4 couples and 6 kids. We all enjoyed the video arcade and hot tub. We had a few issues when we arrived but someone come out within about 20 minutes to take care of things. Our family had a wonderful time making memories here.

All in all the experience and the facilities were very good but we did have an issue with one of the toilets. The maintenance man came and replaced the ball valve (?) but left the old one in the trash can. We would have thought he would have taken it with him to dispose of. Even after the replacement it was still necessary to "jiggle" the handle after ever use to have the water turn off.

Service was great, Jeff was friendly and very helpful in suggesting to local eateries and general advice. The cabin itself was neat and clean however two of the upstairs Jacuzzis, the upstairs living room DVD player, and all of the darts were broken. Our stay was nice otherwise but those things dampened the experience a little.

Overall experience was amazing staying at Hawk's Crest but below is a list of cons about the cabin specifically. Parkside staff was amazing so this does not reflect on them. Cons - jacuzzi in one of the rooms is still out - charcoal grill was like a park grill....could be updated - no mountain views and very close to neighbors - outdoor fire pit not allowed due to being too close to city limits Pros - House is bigger than pictures especially the bedrooms - lots of space for large groups - house was very clean and beds smelled freshly laundered upon arrival - plenty of towels - very much that "cabin feel" you look for - decors and furniture are amazing - all appliances worked as expected and everything was as described - Parkside staff provided great customer service - Check in was quick and easy - Directions to the cabin were clear and accurate - Staff answered any questions we had prior to arriving

Super friendly staff. Had a misunderstanding that we worked out pretty quickly and with little problem. The cabin was clean and well taken care of. One of the rooms had a tub that was out of order but those things happen. There are plenty of neighbors with out you knowing there are any neighbors. The check in office is right next to a gas station, pancake restaurant, giant mini golf course and liquor store/convenient store so you don’t have to go into town if you don’t want to. Couldn’t say enough good things about this trip.

Check in was easy and everyone friendly. Cabin was as described. Directions to get to the cabin were perfect. A few cleaning issues. Couldn’t use darts bc all tips were broke. Pool table has holes in pocket which made the balls fall on through. The biggest issue was the air did not cool below 74 degrees. The game table was great fun. Shower had great water pressure which was nice. Could use more towels and washcloths for the size of the house. Price was very reasonable. We did enjoy the house enough it stay again for sure.

Great cabin! We enjoyed our stay. The only thing wrong was couldn’t get fireplace to work in a couple rooms and the hot tub had too much water in it that overflowed once we got in. The light kept going out where the hot tub was so we went back in. Afraid a bear may sneak up. Lol

Everything was wonderful. There were no problems. The only thing i would recommend are some no slip strips on the ramp coming into the cabin and the downstairs bedroom fireplace did not work. But that was not an inconvenience so we loved our stay!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and very clean! We also loved the fact that the appliances worked properly, the water was hot, wifi had a great connection, and the heat warmed us up pretty well at night considering how far the temperature dropped. Looking forward to another stay!!

Great place! We had a minor maintenance issue with the ice maker and called for assistance and within 20 minutes the maintenance man was there and fixed all issues. Thanks a million it was the best place we have ever stayed in all aspects.

This was our second time staying with Parkside Cabin Rentals and we were very pleased again! The cabin was perfect! We had an issue getting one of our fireplaces going and we called maintenance. (This could have been a user error because we do not know much about fireplaces Lol). He showed up very quickly and was very nice! Got the fireplace working! It was a wonderful stay! Everything was wonderful except the cooling of the kitchen/ main room area. It got to 83 degrees even though the thermostat was set on 70. Someone was supposed to come back on Saturday morning but never showed up. The remainder of the stay it was rainy & cool so it wasn't an issue. Overall, we loved our stay and will plan to visit in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at Hawks Crest very much. The beauty and functionality of the home and its location were perfect for our vacation. The staff was great and responded quickly to any questions and issues. We did need to report some issues with the home upon arrival that needed to be addressed. We would recommend two improvements to the house. We did not utilize the beautiful rec room as much as planned due to its poor lighting, especially above the tables. Also we did not use the charcoal grills. A larger gas grill would have been better for families who wanted to spend more time touring the area and not waiting on charcoal. The biggest complaint was the home was not cleaned well when we arrived.. Used soap in the tub and used bandaids in bedroom and bathroom, Q-tips laying on the porch railing, very dusty fans and very dirty floors throughout the house that were not sweep well, actually gritty to the feel.

The cabin was clean except for a kitchen drawer with mouse droppings. It was just like the pictures were on the web site. Nice cabin with 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.

We had a great time in the cabin. Everyone had a blast. Close to town. The two gentlemen that came and looked at the hot tub and guest toilet were very professional. Only thing that I would change is. I emailed a few times before our visit and never got a response. I made a phone call to office a few days before check in. We look forward to visiting again.

My group had a great experience. Staff was helpful and friendly, check-in and check-out processes were a breeze, and the cabin itself (Hawks Crest) was beautiful. The one less-than-stellar portion of our stay was the internet/wifi connectivity at Hawks Crest. The wifi signal was spotty at best; in 2017, I can't think of an excuse for poor internet. Aside from that one disappointment, the stay was great!

Love staying with Park Side! We were in Hawks Crest this time and have it used it several times and have already booked for later this year. Our cabin did have a few issues but nothing we could not deal with. These are not complaints! We love staying at Park Side cabins and recommend it to others. Here is a list of what we noted: 1. Smoke detector needs a battery. It was beeping. 2. Handicap room needs a good dusting around the bed under night stand. Fan light globe is missing. 3. Back bedroom to the right has outlets that will not work at both sinks. Drawer on nightstand is missing the front. 4. Light needed on outdoor ramp at both corners of the house. Ramp has a pot hole at the end that makes it difficult to push wheelchair. 5. Shower rods were loose or broken in a couple of bathrooms.

The cabin was fantastic. The location was great. Just far enough out of town. The price was good, it would be great for five couples or families. All five women staying noticed some cleaning shortages, but as businesswomen could understand the reasons. The whole atmosphere made for a really nice weekend. The skillets sucked, tho.

The cabin was beautiful , but had small problem 1 refrigerator ice maker would lease the ice. 2 mice And mice dropping in the utensils 3 in one of the rooms the jacuzzi did not work. 4. Gas grill needs to be replaced. And not sparked to lite 5. Dart board not working. Alarm system kept beeping -- a service person came but could not fix. The lower bedroom bathroom ceiling was peeling badly . Remote controls not working for some of the fireplaces. Ceiling fans dusty

Cabin was beautiful! Very accommodating. The only problem we had was that the grill needs replaced. The drip pan was rusted out and it caused a small grease fire in the grill, ruining our dinner.

Hawks Crest was a wonderful cabin. The only suggestion is to put in a larger or an additional water heater. With a cabin that sleeps as many as this one you should have enough hot water for several showers but i ended up along with a couple others taking a cold shower no t so pleasant in January. Otherwise all was wonderful!

This is the second time our family has stayed at Hawk's Crest. It is perfect for us and we enjoy it so much. Everyone is friendly and easy to work with. While the cabin is clean, there is a lack of attention to detail. Cobwebs in places, trash behind bed...but overall we look forward to staying there again! If anything goes wrong , someone is there quickly to address the situation!

This is our second year in this house and lost count on the years with Parkside. Every Stay has been great without any problems that wasn't taken care of immediately. My phone calls were always handled professionally. See you next year!

We loved this cabin! Looks exactly like the pictures! And we had allot of issues the first day with both fridges, but they did resolve it. We would stay here again for sure!

Overall the cabin was nice, easy check in as well. We did however have to clean all the silverware and drawer due to mouse droppings all over inside the cabinet and on the utensils. Fridge wasnt working the first night but maint. came out right away and fixed it.

Our first stay in the Hawk's Nest Cabin was great............outside of the internet problem and dryer problem it was a great stay. The staff of Parkside were very nice, accommodating...............we were in town and decided to stop by and pick up some additional garbage bags and they had them on site and even reminded us we could call as we did for the pool sticks and darts..............we were in town an decided to get them as we were driving by; however them offering to bring such things was super cool and great of them. We'll be back next year and will make this our NEW favorite spot and NEW family tradition with great accommodations; great amenities and GREAT people!!!
