City Lights

Great cabin. City lights is a perfect cabin for everyone. 4 minute walk to a trolley pick up. Easy to get from the cabin to town. Great porch with hot tub. On the side of the house was a bbq and fire pit that was private and comfortable. We will stay there again.

Would like extra hand towels in the bathrooms and more accent pillows.

The Cabin was very clean. The location was ideal. Interactions with staff was very pleasant. Loved the gas fire put & hot tub. . The only downside was that ladybugs were everywhere inside but they’re harmless.

The cabin was in a great location with everything the Gatlinburg strip had to offer. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend cabin!

Our stay was very nice and enjoyable. I had an issue completing the digital paperwork ahead of time so I called. The staff person was not helpful over the phone and just said he didn't know what to do. That was disappointing. However, when I stopped into the office to check in, the lady who checked me in was very nice and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon. We did have challenges with the TVs and think it would’ be nice to advise in the rental listings that TVs are streaming only. For older renters it is very challenging and a bit frustrating not to have basic local tv. Other than the TV situation the cabin was perfect!

The experience was excellent, definitely would recommend it to family and friends.

We love using Parkside. The people are always friendly and helpful. This stay we had issues with the WiFi so we was unable to use the tvs the first night and most of the next day. The staff did end up getting us hot spot to use so that helped.

The cabin was perfect. Loved the fireplace and the fire pit. It was a perfect location short walk into town.

We loved the cabin, the location, the amenities and the cleanliness of the rental. Living near DC one appreciates that cozy cabin feel. Loved the front deck , especially the rockers. We will be back!

It is a lovely cabin in an excellent location. This was our 2nd stay at City Lights. We plan to return next year.

The cabin was amazing, awesome location for my wife, myself, and 4 year old daughter! Extremely clean with everything you would need, and any questions or help that was needed had an immediate response!

The cabin was beautiful and we loved the location. It was clean and very well designed. I loved the retro arcade game upstairs! The showers were amazing as well! That was our second visit to Gatlinburg and we want to stay in the same cabin for our future visits.

Check in and departure was so easy. The location is great, short walk straight into the Village. We will stay here agian, very clean.

Second time using Parkside, and Jeff is great always willing to help and make things happen. Cabin was awesome, great location, great wildlife, and clean. We patronized local retailers and sourced most of our food from local farmers and markets to prepare our own food with the well equipped kitchen. Our thanks to everyone at Park Side.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. The cabin, the location, the booking and checking in process were all great. We are already looking forward to our next stay at the City Lights cabin.

The cabin we stayed at was in great shape and had everything we needed. We wanted to be close to downtown Gatlinburg so the cabin was perfect for us. The firepit area was very nice and we enjoyed a nice night by the fire.

Cabin was extremely clean. Staff were friendly and attentive! Our hot tub wasn’t heating properly and they had someone out to check it within the hour.

Extremely pleased with the cabin. Although there was a big lady bug issue.

This is our 6th stay with Parkside and I am always pleased with everything. From check in, call in for requests, answers to any questions, to check out, it's all so easy. The cabins are beautiful and so well decorated and make you feel at home. We love staying with Parkside!

The place was very nice, only complaint was missing towels when we arrived, but you brought them over that night. Also wish it had a better view, & a trolley stop, & a hose to refill hot tub, as it spills out & there is no hose to refill. Thank you for a nice visit.

Office check in was quick, easy and very friendly service. We loved the cabin and no issues with our stay.

The staff at check-in was wonderful. Had lots of information about area events. The cabin was as described immaculate and beautiful. We were visited by two bears on two separate occasions. Enjoyed it immensely and would go back again.

Wonderful cabin and location. Beautifully decorated. Suggestion: you would make people’s stays better simply by adding a hook right next to the shower opening by the toilet and adding a couple hooks to hang clothes on, Very inexpensive but incredibly convenient for guests.

Beautiful home and the staff was truly amazing at checkin (only time i needed them). I would recommend the shower curtains be replaced and/or bleached - they have probably reached their limit.

Loved the cabin! Perfect for our family. One surprise was no tub. We love long baths soaking . I was very disappointed about. Heck in. One gentleman ascted as though we were an imposition and the gentleman called Jeff didnt acknowledge us period. It was very embarassing . I personally will not stay there again. We waited a good 15 min while he talked to another customer. All he had to do was say I will be right with you.

Excellent cabin. Just add at least one hair blow dryer to the cabin.

Our time at City Lights was great, we did have 1 small issue that was taken care of very promptly. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. On the second day, we had a momma bear and her 2 cubs right outside of the door, which our grandkids were excited to see. It was also nice to be so close to the strip in Gatlinburg. I would recommend Parkside to anyone looking for a cabin.

The cabin we stayed in was so beautiful. Just need to get control of the bees, one day we ended up with several in the upstairs bathroom. We killed them ourselves. Also the carpenter bees outside are drilling holes everywhere.

We had an excellent stay at City Lights. The cabin is just perfect and the location can't be beat! We didn't have any issues during our stay, but was informed prior to arriving that there was a Keurig in the cabin. We arrived to find a traditional coffee pot, which was no big deal, but when we spoke with the office they had a Keurig delivered to the cabin with an hour. We plan to reserve this cabin again in the future and look forward to visiting again soon!

The cabin was beautiful and had all of the amenities needed. The coffee maker did not work, and the towels were worn and small. We had to drive to Gatlinburg during a once in a century storm since none of the deposit would be refunded if we canceled. I think storms, etc. should be taken into account when it concerns refunding the deposit.

My family really enjoyed our long weekend stay. Even seen a bear when we arrived to the cabin. Very clean and nice cabin will definitely be staying there again in tbe future. Very please with the check in process also.

Parkside Cabin Rentals was an amazing company to book with! It was easy, seamless, and didn’t have a ton of hidden fees that other places like to charge. City Lights cabin that we stayed it was amazing! Clean, new, perfect location, and cozy. There are two things that prevented me from giving 5 stars. 1- they do not have bear proof trash cans so you have to call every morning and ask for your trash to be picked up, which was fine. Unfortunately, we went about 3 days before someone came to get it. 2. We aren’t 100% sure the hot tub had been cleaned recently. It didn’t smell great and the water was super cloudy. Neither of those things were that big of a deal to us and we still had a wonderful relaxing stay.

Had everything we needed for our stay , room for our family, nice kitchen to cook meals, clean and new, and comfortable beds ….and even seen two bears while sitting on deck . This was Eddie and I’s third stay with you ….And have already given your name and number to other family members. Hope to see you again in a year or two!

We had a wonderful stay at the City Lights cabin! The cabin was clean, the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. We were excited each day to come back to just rest and relax at our cabin getaway. We had ample supply of dish soap, towels, paper towels etc. We appreciated the laundry detergent that was provided. We loved having our indoor fireplace and the outdoor firepit. We also enjoyed the hot tub. It was a little awkward that the hot tub faced the roadway, but it was nice to have the privacy fence facing the house next door. I see why the privacy fence didn't go all the way around as it would take away from the view. We did have a visit from a Bear while at the cabin, that was amazing, but wanted to mention it as if you have travelers who come with little kids, make sure they remain aware of their surroundings. We think the bear may live right next to the cabin in the mountain side. We had never seen a bear before so it was a highlight of our trip. Thanks for such a wonderful stay! I would definitely come again!

We had a great time and absolutely love the cabin and the location. The only issue we had was when the washing machine flooded the cabin at 10pm. We called the emergency number several times and no one answered and the voicemail was full. Luckily, we were able to use all of the towels and paper towels to clean up the water. The office did an excellent job the following morning bringing new towels and getting the issue resolved while we were out enjoying Gatlinburg. I would just recommend that the emergency number actually have a person answer or at least have the voicemail empty so a message can be left.
