15- Hickory Tree

Great place to stay. Great location to stay. Great customer service as well.

the cabin was the right size for me and my husband we love the feel of the cabin it was cozy

Hard to get towels we only had 3 to last all week when we would ask they were always short staffed.only 5 out of 12 jets were working and leaked water .

Great stay. Everyone helpful and friendly Cabin comfortable and in good condition Will certainly recommend you!! Also appreciated the reasonable price and parking passes

Great ee will be booking in the Fall. Very peacefull and relaxing. Thanks

Cabin's location was a plus and it was very clean.

Everything was clean and organized, everything was easily accessible as well! Perfect!

We always love staying at the Hickory Tree cabin. This was our fourth year in it. It is always clean and ready for us. We look forward to our stay there next year.

This is like our 4th or 5th time staying with parkside. You all are amazing.

Everything was great except the pillows. Cabin was clean. Would definitely stay again.

We always stay in the same cabin. This year they changed the blinds and they don’t fit the windows very well leaving gaps in the sides.

We stay with you every year. This year was no exception to how comfortable you make your guests feel. We now have friends that rent from you the same week and they were thrilled with their experience.

I was a wonderful place to stay. Right in town but it felt like I was secluded. Surrounded by the wildlife of chipmunks, squirrels and birds. I even saw a bear. It was wonderful and relaxing.

Had a small issue, solved in hours.was pleased with work

Another great stay!! Cabins are always clean and stocked. Thank you so much!!

We loved our stat, would stayed longer, but as everything is, it was kinda pricy, the next time we come, we will know to bring food, and things like that! Over all every thing was nice, and quite, and we felt right at home!

We love the easy process of check in and check out and that everything is very clean and you have pet friendly rentals. Everything is there that we need for a short stay and ice in ice maker.

We have stayed in the cabins many times. They are always clean. Just perfect for us.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The location was perfect, private, peaceful, and right on the creek, but still close to Gatlinburg. The hot tub was a great bonus, and the cabin had everything we needed. It was small, but well laid out, and the price was excellent for what was included. The only issue we had was with the refrigerator. When we arrived, it wasn’t cooling properly. I called and someone came out very quickly, which I appreciated. The maintenance person cleaned the back and said it was blowing cooler, and shortly after, someone brought us a large cooler packed with ice which was very helpful. However, the refrigerator never did start working correctly. Nothing froze in the freezer and items stayed barely cooler than room temperature the entire stay. I just wanted to let you know the issue was not resolved by the time we left, in case it still needs attention. We absolutely would stay with you again and truly enjoyed the overall experience. Thank you for your responsiveness and hospitality.

We love the location. The cabin & area is clean. The check in is very easy. We love the free parking passes for downtown.

Very nice cabin beds ver comfortable. Need more room for luggage.

Overall good experience. We emailed about tv login on the first night and never heard back from anyone. The hot tub was too hot to get in so we had to take the cover off for awhile before we could use it. Everything else was great’

Nice cabin, convenient location. Comfortable place to stay. Got to stay close to my friends who were also there. That made it Really nice!

Great, loved our cabin#15 Hickory Pine. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable for us. We liked the back porch but rockers do need some cushions (we have some ‘old’ bones. lol) The heating and air conditioning were great too.

Everything was perfect customer service was very friendly very helpful and very friendly I will definitely be staying again in the near future the cabin was really clean very spaces and over all very beautiful only downfall is they don't have washer and dryers in the cabins

The cabin was very comfy and had everything we needed Was close to all our activities Thanks Jeff😊

The cabin was very clean and booking was so easy! Will definitely be staying here again.

The cabin was super cute and very comfortable. The bathroom could use some updating, but still functional. Location was excellent - just far enough away from downtown, but still close to everything. Very happy with our decision to stay here.

Wonderful experience friendly staff clean cabin will visit again! Super

We had a great time Our cabin was great Thanks Jeff

Nice cabin to stay with my dog. Peaceful and nice outdoor area. Could not find a pot holder or colander. Blinds needed to be dusted.

we enjoy it a lot will do it again sometime

Always enjoy staying with parkside. We are already planning our next trip. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Cute cozy cabin away from traffic but close to downtown. Clean and very friendly.

Reasonable prices. Cabins have necessary amenities and room to make stay comfortable. Being pet friendly is a must for us and pet fee is reasonable. Really like usable back porch. (Cleanliness could be improved a little.)

We liked the location, the cabin was well maintained, the maintenance/ground keeper was very nice and friendly. We were also lucky enough to see bears every day we were there. We would definitely stay again.

We loved our time in Cabin 15!! Very small but super cute and very clean. It was everything we needed. Highly recommend this cabin and the whole organization.

Great customer service. Trip was amazing. Definitely will be coming back.

Great check in experience. Asked the young lady that checked us in where there was a good place to eat dinner. She gave me a sheet of paper with a bunch of places on it. Also told me where the parking garage was.

Friendly people at check in, nice cabin. Great stay. Just wish you provided coffee in the cabin!

Is very good cabin .tks clean very good Office good people nice area

Our stay was great. This was not our first time with Parkside, and we will continue to rent with Parkside and already have another rental reserved in October of this year confirmed. This was the first time we encountered an issue with the rental. Out trip this time was a last minute trip that was able to come together for the kids. After looking at the site I called Parkside direct since it was last minute and we spoke with Jeff. He was amazing. We mentioned that we were leaving Chicago around 2 AM and would arrive by 11 to Gatlinburg. He mentioned that the cabin we were interested in was not rented the night previous so there was a good chance that we could check in shortly after arriving in Gatlinburg since we would likely be tired. We arrived and got breakfast next door at Flapjacks and when we went over to see Jeff the cabin was ready. The location of the cabin was great, down in the valley below the office and behind the Appy. What an amazing central location! The cabin was the perfect size for us and we got set-up, rested some and then went out to enjoy the park and hike to see some waterfalls before heading back to have a BBQ dinner. That evening and as we were getting kids ready for bed we encountered a couple of issues but it was very late so we just worked around them and went to bed, In the morning, I went over to the Parkside office to talk through the issues we encountered that we couldn't work around. We were moved to a new cabin as a result and we were able to do this that same morning and while the kids slept we loaded the car and packed up before waking them up to go to the new cabin, located just a couple of miles away - also in an awesome location for our needs. The new cabin was great, and the rest of our trip was issue-free. I appreciate Parkside helping us out and also for helping us find the right cabin. Jeff was amazing, and I am sorry that I do not remember the man's name that took care of me that morning I came over but he was great too. The issues we ran into were not any fault of Jeff and will in no way deter us from future reservations with Parkside. In fact, the way this all was handled made me an even bigger fan of Parkside and will seek out Parkside cabins over others as a result. Thank you for helping us to have a great final trip of the summer for the kids before school starts up again. We cannot wait to come back to the Smokies again in October and look forward to our rental with Parkside that we already have reservation for. Thank you.

Everything was perfect. We will definitely be staying with you again .

The cabin was very relaxing. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Enjoyed staying there love the cabin. Easy to get to

The management was ver professional and extremely courteous. The cabins were extremely clean. Appliances were new. Very positive experience

We loved the cabin and the extras that came with it, especially the coupons for free parking. Also like that you can make payments towards the cabin and don’t have to pay the entire amount at one time.

Parkside cabin rentals only ever does amazing. My little family and I have booked with them going back for 3 years or so! They never disappoint! The property is always clean , and we never have complaints, issues, or worries! Check in is easy as well. Once we started booking with Parkside we haven’t used any other in the area. We enjoy the views, and the updated look of the kitchens! This past time we needed extra sheets since our son spilled water, and they handled it so quick. I can’t say enough good things! BOOK WITH PARKSIDE YOU WILL BE HAPPY YOU DID!!!!!

Great. The mattress cover on the pull out sofa needs washed

Great experience with this company and my wife and I will definitely be back

Fast convenient and perfect location Clean quiet spacious and friendly atmosphere

My husband and I stayed in the Hickory Tree cabin for our honeymoon in 2023 and this time stayed there as well for our first anniversary. We love this cabin. Booking, check in, and check out is easy and efficient. We plan on staying in the same cabin for our anniversaries as long as it is available.

Everything was great very clean beautiful place Quit get away

Lovely the cabin we stayed in needs a little care

Did great. 👍🏻 do feel the cabin could have been a little cleaner.

Great experience great cabin only problem is the drive ways are way to tight even for a 4 door truck

Smelled and looks well cleaned when first arrived. Appliances looked new and no major issues. Could use some work in bathroom such as cleaning wood top of shower, higher shower head, higher curtains so they don't take room in shower. Front door not aligned properly to door frame.

Beautiful cabin, exceptional clean, great hot tub. Would definitely stay with you again.

The cabin was beautiful, we were very comfortable.. The views were awesome and we loved being in that location.. Jeff and Abby were great, helping me get signed in and settled in my cabin. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Clean, nicely decorated cabin. Great size for two people and our canine. Pleasant staff when making reservations and checking in. Like free parking tickets also.

Check in was very easy and the staff was very nice. Overall it was good little cabin for our stay.

Cabin could have been a little cleaner but I understand it's a pet friendly cabin so I guess sometimes that's to be expected. Love the location! Staff is always pleasant. The only other thing I noticed was the lack of insulation for the cabin. I could hear the neighbors next door talking (normal voices) from inside our cabin. All doors and windows were closed. But I know this is one of your older cabins so maybe upgrades just haven't been made yet. Other than that I always enjoy my stay at parkside. Y'all are awesome! Never have any issues and if I do Y'all are quick to make it right. Good job! Keep it up!

I really enjoyed the cabin and will rent again. It had all I was looking for for me and my Granddaughter.

Very clean was a pleasure to stay there will definitely be back

Easy check in. Cabin was cozy, clean and comfortable. We were given a packet of great information at check in with parking passes. Would definitely stay here again.

Cabin is clean, nicely decorated, and great location. We would not be able to visit without our little dog due to her medical condition and she is very comfortable and happy there as well.

Excellent clean comfortable and convenient I would recommend this place

You guys were great! Very efficient and kind. We will definitely stay with you again!

The front desk staff was super friendly, even providing restaurant recommendations. The cabin was clean, quiet, and very cozy for our short getaway. It is a short drive to downtown & they also provided parking passes for downtown which was super convenient. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

front desk crew where awesome ! cabin was great location was perfect for us and looking foreword to setting up something this summer some location!

It was clean and perfect amount of room for 2 people. It was close to the strip in gatlinburg and was very convenient. We will come back again.

very clean and nice. great weekend get away spot that allows you to include the fur baby!

The cabin was fantastic, check in process was easy. The only negative was that the shower curtain was way too long and was a trip hazard in the shower.

It was a great experience from the day I booked it I knew exactly what to do to check in and everything it was a very simple process and the staff are very helpful and friendly my fiancée left her purse in the cabin when we left and they called me immediately to notify me but we were already far away they had it mailed to us asap and payed the shipping very good people and company will recommend to anyone and everyone and will definitely be staying with them again

You have wonderful cabins. They are always clean and have everything we need.

Cute cabin very clean. Great location. We will definitely be returning.

Our stay was great. The cabin was so clean and also very cozy. We actually saw a bear! We loved being by the creek! We were quite surprised of how close we were to the strip. Highly recommend!

We always love staying with Parkside very courteous and helpful

At first I was a little disappointed with the location being only a short distance from the main road and having a very steep hillside behind the cabin. Boy was I wrong! I was within ten feet of a huge black bear just by opening the sliding door to the back porch. There were several more bear spotting at our cabin while we were out. The cabin is small but the location was great.

Loved the cabin for the price, good check in. I do wish the hot pool had other lights at it. Maybe string lights!!

We are very pleased with the cabin we stayed in and especially the staff. The cabin did have a bit of a musty smell. It was pretty clean overall. We had an issue with the shower curtain and it was immediately remedied. The cabin was cute and had obviously been updated. The location is really perfect and is even near a trolley stop. We appreciated the fully equipped kitchen. The soaps, shampoo, and lotion were of a really good quality.

Awesome cabin and great services by management...thank you so much!!

GREAT! Our vacation got cut short one day. Planning on reserving the same cabin next year

Check in and out was great. Cabin was pretty clean and had everything we needed.

We had a great time but there were ants inside the cabin.

Cabin was smaller than I thought it would be but we got use to it so not too bad. No closet space or anywhere for clothes. Liked location. I went on line to look in to scheduling a cabin next year in May but noticed cabins significantly more expensive than this year. Are the cabins going up that much next year?

Pleasantly surprised and pleased with the cabin. It was clean and plenty of space for my husband, myself, and our small dog. Loved the decor in cabin and large back porch with nice rocking chairs and small table and chairs. First time to bring our pup and she was very comfortable and happy as well! Was able to take her for walks on the gravel road and other areas away from other guests.

It was a wonderful experience and we had no issues. The cabin was in a great location especially since we had an assortment of weather from a high of 66 one day and sunny to the next day with a high of 26 and five inches of snow.

Check in was great. I will be stating here again.

Easy reservation, check in and check out experience. Will definitely stay again

As advertised! Comfortable, good privacy, great location, wonderful people at check-in. The passes and coupons, kitchen, and hot tub are definitely worth the cost vs a regular hotel room! I'd love to stay with this company again.

The staff was friendly and cabin was great except for the steps coming off the back deck to the parking area. The steps need some type of non-slip tape or matting. I slipped and took a hard fall down the steps Friday morning.

Cabin was perfect for our family of three and our pup! It was super cozy. The hot tub was a nice added touch. Beds were comfy. It was nice being able to cook our own meals. It was close to downtown but far enough away when you wanted privacy. We would definitely stay again.

Great cabin & great location. This was our second time staying in the same cabin. Definitely recommend it.

Awesome experience. Clean cabin. Nice location. Friendly staff. Great amenities

Cabin was clean, perfect for 2 people, quite considering close to Gatlinburg. The outside porch was perfect for evening meals and enjoyed the birds dropping in. The shower water was hot which I appreciated. A gentlemen who worked the phone line was super helpful (he’s from NY, has a son) sorry don’t recall his name but, he really helped nailing down the cabin and answered all my questions so this was an awesome good first impression. Everything he mentioned about the cabin was true too! Easy check out too. Great experience staying in this cozy, clean and quiet cabin.

The cabin was awesome. Very peaceful. Perfect for the purpose of our trip, which was to relax. Only complaint was we were required to wash dishes but there wasn’t any dish liquid or a dishrag. Also, we had to call the office to get bedding for the couch bed for our son.

Cabin was very nice and cozy. The hot tub was great. The cabin was in close to town which was a big plus. This is the second time we have stayed at your cabins. Look forward to renting in the future and recommend to our friends.

Clean cabins, decent views for being behind a hotel, and a bear walking by was awesome.

Everything was perfect, just need to make sure we have more tissue.

Decent little cabin. Was clean and sufficient. Mattress wasn't the most comfortable. But overall enjoyed our stay

cabins were clean and the staff was friendly. we are planing our next trip.

The cabin was great for a weekend getaway! It was very cozy and so cute!

Everything was great. Would have loved to check in a bit earlier so we could have spent more time in Gatlinburg.

The cabin was nice a little small but very nice and the location was a 10star. The people in the office could be more friendly.

Very friendly staff. Clean cabin and wonderful hot tub. Easy access to town.

Friendly staff cabin was clean and nice but rather small for a family of four

Good cabin, great customer service and will be back in the future.

clean, warm, well accommodated, great value and good location. great mattress and hot tub.

Very clean easy check in and check out will be staying with you all again

We had a very nice and relaxing visit. Very enojayable and exciting.

We have stayed here numerous times, we love coming to Parkside because we know everything will be nice inside.. The staff is very nice also.

Quick and efficient check in and out. Cabins was beautiful and very clean.

This is our second time with Parkside and we absolutely love it. Great customer service, prices are fair and the cabins are cozy. We will be back!

My husband and I wanted to get away for a few days. This place was perfect. It was basically in Gatlinburg and a few minutes from Piegon Forge. There was putt putt close, a pancake cabin close and gas station. We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for couples wanting to get away and be close to town.

We have stayed in your cabins before. Everything is always neat and clean. Enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was cute and comfy, the hot tub was awesome. The front counter man & woman when we checked in weren't very helpful or friendly but Juan was helpful.

Everything was superb!!! The staff, the cabin, everything!! I loved staying with y'all!! Already have several family members and friends asking for your website and phone number ! They want to stay with Parkside too! Can't wait to come back!! Will never stay anywhere else now that I've found Parkside Cabins!!!

Very nice, clean, love that we can bring our pets.

Very clean and cabins are small but cozy beautifully kept!!

Good experience but we couldn't use the couch bed it had dog food and mouse droppings inside it other then that everything was great. Would plan on using your cabins again.

We loved the cabin we stayed in. Staff was very nice . When I needed something they were cry quick in getting it resolved . Our sheets had blood stains on them first night and dirt on top of them . I called next morning and complained and it was resolved quickly . I appreciate that .

Super easy booking, check-in, and check-out processes. Clean cabin, excellent communication of local attraction in welcome packet. Friendly staff.

Great cabin. Celebrating 9th anniversary. Had small dog, Willie with us Keith and I were very happy that he could come with us. Willie also enjoyed the cooler weather as we are from Florida. The cabin we stayed in was pet friendly. Love this place will be back.

Amazing perfect space for my daughter and I. Perfect location right by the strip, and the generous coupons for the garage and the aquarium were very beneficial

Wifi was slow and previous guest put dishes away dirty, but other than that everything was great.

made us feel most welcome. Place was very clean Excellent place to stay

Loved the cabin we stayed in, we stayed at the Hickory Tree. The cabin was clean. The only thing that somewhat disappointed me was that it was not exactly walking distance to the downtown Gatlinburg area. Nonetheless the parking vouchers helped with that issue, but at least should have been given one for each night we stayed versus just 2 vouchers. The hot tub was too hot at 111 degrees and did not end up using it because it would not get any lower... I would stay again but maybe in another cabin...

Excellent we had a great time good choice to stay

We both really enjoyed the cabin. It was very nice and a lot more enjoyable.

The bathroom could've been a little cleaner but other than that everything was great. We liked the convenience of being close to town. The perks included such as a downtown parking pass helped as well. We will be returning in the near future!

Everything was great, and enjoyed our stay in Hickory Tree Cabin. The area was very nice and convenient to all areas of the Smokies

Cabin was great. Loved the jacuzzi. Area was private and quiet.

We loved our cabin, and enjoyed our stay. We are already planning a return visit in December, and hoping to reserve the same cabin! We hope to make our reservation this week. Everything was wonderful. Thank you so much for a great visit.

Overall we enjoyed our experience. The setting is very nice. It is private without being remote. It might be better if you leave instructions on how to operate the hot tub.

Everything was great as always. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because the cabin did not have central air. The window unit in the bedroom was right on the bed. Also the tvs were too small. Otherwise a great getaway. The people at check in were great and helpful as always.

They were very friendly and we enjoyed the time we spent in the cabin. Very peaceful location and convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

The cabin was Clean comfortable and friendly staff, and pup friendly!

Amazing can't wait to come back was there in march and april

We stayed at Hickory Tree this weekend and found checking in was easy and our stay enjoyable. When we arrived, the unit was very cold and it took a couple hours to get it warm enough to really enjoy inside. Thankfully it stayed warm the rest of the stay. We did notice that some small stuff done. One would be changing the battery in the smoke detector in the hallway. It beeps if you close the battery door. I take it that a prior guest didn't like when it started to beep and disengaged it. That worked for them but needs to be replaced for safety, of course. Second, there is a lightbulb on fan fixture that is burnt out in the bedroom that needs replaced. Third, there is a small door missing on the deck by the hot tub that leads to a drain. I take it this is for draining the tub, but without the door, a person could easily turn an ankle. We didn't notice until Sunday morning and had already used the tub the prior two nights. In the dark it could be a real danger. Fourth and possibly most important, in the morning I could see light shining into our bedroom through he corners of the cabin. We could hear a good deal of noise from our neighbors next door when in the bedroom and in the morning we figured out why. They liked to run their van to warm it up and also stand outside and talk, so we heard it all. It needs to be sealed up better for noise and heat loss. We enjoyed our stay but noticed these little things that could make the stay even better. Thank you for your time.

Really enjoyed the cabin and location. Heat was not on when we arrived so it was very cold in cabin. Could have used some extra bathroom towels.
