Nice cabin, convenient location. Comfortable place to stay. Got to stay close to my friends who were also there. That made it Really nice!

Great, loved our cabin#15 Hickory Pine. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable for us. We liked the back porch but rockers do need some cushions (we have some ‘old’ bones. lol) The heating and air conditioning were great too.

Everything was perfect customer service was very friendly very helpful and very friendly I will definitely be staying again in the near future the cabin was really clean very spaces and over all very beautiful only downfall is they don't have washer and dryers in the cabins

Reasonable prices. Cabins have necessary amenities and room to make stay comfortable. Being pet friendly is a must for us and pet fee is reasonable. Really like usable back porch. (Cleanliness could be improved a little.)

We liked the location, the cabin was well maintained, the maintenance/ground keeper was very nice and friendly. We were also lucky enough to see bears every day we were there. We would definitely stay again.

Our stay was great. This was not our first time with Parkside, and we will continue to rent with Parkside and already have another rental reserved in October of this year confirmed. This was the first time we encountered an issue with the rental. Out trip this time was a last minute trip that was able to come together for the kids. After looking at the site I called Parkside direct since it was last minute and we spoke with Jeff. He was amazing. We mentioned that we were leaving Chicago around 2 AM and would arrive by 11 to Gatlinburg. He mentioned that the cabin we were interested in was not rented the night previous so there was a good chance that we could check in shortly after arriving in Gatlinburg since we would likely be tired. We arrived and got breakfast next door at Flapjacks and when we went over to see Jeff the cabin was ready. The location of the cabin was great, down in the valley below the office and behind the Appy. What an amazing central location! The cabin was the perfect size for us and we got set-up, rested some and then went out to enjoy the park and hike to see some waterfalls before heading back to have a BBQ dinner. That evening and as we were getting kids ready for bed we encountered a couple of issues but it was very late so we just worked around them and went to bed, In the morning, I went over to the Parkside office to talk through the issues we encountered that we couldn't work around. We were moved to a new cabin as a result and we were able to do this that same morning and while the kids slept we loaded the car and packed up before waking them up to go to the new cabin, located just a couple of miles away - also in an awesome location for our needs. The new cabin was great, and the rest of our trip was issue-free. I appreciate Parkside helping us out and also for helping us find the right cabin. Jeff was amazing, and I am sorry that I do not remember the man's name that took care of me that morning I came over but he was great too. The issues we ran into were not any fault of Jeff and will in no way deter us from future reservations with Parkside. In fact, the way this all was handled made me an even bigger fan of Parkside and will seek out Parkside cabins over others as a result. Thank you for helping us to have a great final trip of the summer for the kids before school starts up again. We cannot wait to come back to the Smokies again in October and look forward to our rental with Parkside that we already have reservation for. Thank you.

Parkside cabin rentals only ever does amazing. My little family and I have booked with them going back for 3 years or so! They never disappoint! The property is always clean , and we never have complaints, issues, or worries! Check in is easy as well. Once we started booking with Parkside we haven’t used any other in the area. We enjoy the views, and the updated look of the kitchens! This past time we needed extra sheets since our son spilled water, and they handled it so quick. I can’t say enough good things! BOOK WITH PARKSIDE YOU WILL BE HAPPY YOU DID!!!!!

My husband and I stayed in the Hickory Tree cabin for our honeymoon in 2023 and this time stayed there as well for our first anniversary. We love this cabin. Booking, check in, and check out is easy and efficient. We plan on staying in the same cabin for our anniversaries as long as it is available.

Smelled and looks well cleaned when first arrived. Appliances looked new and no major issues. Could use some work in bathroom such as cleaning wood top of shower, higher shower head, higher curtains so they don't take room in shower. Front door not aligned properly to door frame.

Cabin could have been a little cleaner but I understand it's a pet friendly cabin so I guess sometimes that's to be expected. Love the location! Staff is always pleasant. The only other thing I noticed was the lack of insulation for the cabin. I could hear the neighbors next door talking (normal voices) from inside our cabin. All doors and windows were closed. But I know this is one of your older cabins so maybe upgrades just haven't been made yet. Other than that I always enjoy my stay at parkside. Y'all are awesome! Never have any issues and if I do Y'all are quick to make it right. Good job! Keep it up!

The front desk staff was super friendly, even providing restaurant recommendations. The cabin was clean, quiet, and very cozy for our short getaway. It is a short drive to downtown & they also provided parking passes for downtown which was super convenient. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The cabin was fantastic, check in process was easy. The only negative was that the shower curtain was way too long and was a trip hazard in the shower.

It was a great experience from the day I booked it I knew exactly what to do to check in and everything it was a very simple process and the staff are very helpful and friendly my fiancée left her purse in the cabin when we left and they called me immediately to notify me but we were already far away they had it mailed to us asap and payed the shipping very good people and company will recommend to anyone and everyone and will definitely be staying with them again

At first I was a little disappointed with the location being only a short distance from the main road and having a very steep hillside behind the cabin. Boy was I wrong! I was within ten feet of a huge black bear just by opening the sliding door to the back porch. There were several more bear spotting at our cabin while we were out. The cabin is small but the location was great.

Loved the cabin for the price, good check in. I do wish the hot pool had other lights at it. Maybe string lights!!

We are very pleased with the cabin we stayed in and especially the staff. The cabin did have a bit of a musty smell. It was pretty clean overall. We had an issue with the shower curtain and it was immediately remedied. The cabin was cute and had obviously been updated. The location is really perfect and is even near a trolley stop. We appreciated the fully equipped kitchen. The soaps, shampoo, and lotion were of a really good quality.

Check in and out was great. Cabin was pretty clean and had everything we needed.

We had a great time but there were ants inside the cabin.

Cabin was smaller than I thought it would be but we got use to it so not too bad. No closet space or anywhere for clothes. Liked location. I went on line to look in to scheduling a cabin next year in May but noticed cabins significantly more expensive than this year. Are the cabins going up that much next year?

Pleasantly surprised and pleased with the cabin. It was clean and plenty of space for my husband, myself, and our small dog. Loved the decor in cabin and large back porch with nice rocking chairs and small table and chairs. First time to bring our pup and she was very comfortable and happy as well! Was able to take her for walks on the gravel road and other areas away from other guests.

It was a wonderful experience and we had no issues. The cabin was in a great location especially since we had an assortment of weather from a high of 66 one day and sunny to the next day with a high of 26 and five inches of snow.

As advertised! Comfortable, good privacy, great location, wonderful people at check-in. The passes and coupons, kitchen, and hot tub are definitely worth the cost vs a regular hotel room! I'd love to stay with this company again.

The staff was friendly and cabin was great except for the steps coming off the back deck to the parking area. The steps need some type of non-slip tape or matting. I slipped and took a hard fall down the steps Friday morning.

Cabin was perfect for our family of three and our pup! It was super cozy. The hot tub was a nice added touch. Beds were comfy. It was nice being able to cook our own meals. It was close to downtown but far enough away when you wanted privacy. We would definitely stay again.

Cabin was clean, perfect for 2 people, quite considering close to Gatlinburg. The outside porch was perfect for evening meals and enjoyed the birds dropping in. The shower water was hot which I appreciated. A gentlemen who worked the phone line was super helpful (he’s from NY, has a son) sorry don’t recall his name but, he really helped nailing down the cabin and answered all my questions so this was an awesome good first impression. Everything he mentioned about the cabin was true too! Easy check out too. Great experience staying in this cozy, clean and quiet cabin.

The cabin was awesome. Very peaceful. Perfect for the purpose of our trip, which was to relax. Only complaint was we were required to wash dishes but there wasn’t any dish liquid or a dishrag. Also, we had to call the office to get bedding for the couch bed for our son.

Cabin was very nice and cozy. The hot tub was great. The cabin was in close to town which was a big plus. This is the second time we have stayed at your cabins. Look forward to renting in the future and recommend to our friends.

My husband and I wanted to get away for a few days. This place was perfect. It was basically in Gatlinburg and a few minutes from Piegon Forge. There was putt putt close, a pancake cabin close and gas station. We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for couples wanting to get away and be close to town.

We loved the cabin we stayed in. Staff was very nice . When I needed something they were cry quick in getting it resolved . Our sheets had blood stains on them first night and dirt on top of them . I called next morning and complained and it was resolved quickly . I appreciate that .

Great cabin. Celebrating 9th anniversary. Had small dog, Willie with us Keith and I were very happy that he could come with us. Willie also enjoyed the cooler weather as we are from Florida. The cabin we stayed in was pet friendly. Love this place will be back.

Loved the cabin we stayed in, we stayed at the Hickory Tree. The cabin was clean. The only thing that somewhat disappointed me was that it was not exactly walking distance to the downtown Gatlinburg area. Nonetheless the parking vouchers helped with that issue, but at least should have been given one for each night we stayed versus just 2 vouchers. The hot tub was too hot at 111 degrees and did not end up using it because it would not get any lower... I would stay again but maybe in another cabin...

Overall we enjoyed our experience. The setting is very nice. It is private without being remote. It might be better if you leave instructions on how to operate the hot tub.

Everything was great as always. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because the cabin did not have central air. The window unit in the bedroom was right on the bed. Also the tvs were too small. Otherwise a great getaway. The people at check in were great and helpful as always.

We stayed at Hickory Tree this weekend and found checking in was easy and our stay enjoyable. When we arrived, the unit was very cold and it took a couple hours to get it warm enough to really enjoy inside. Thankfully it stayed warm the rest of the stay. We did notice that some small stuff done. One would be changing the battery in the smoke detector in the hallway. It beeps if you close the battery door. I take it that a prior guest didn't like when it started to beep and disengaged it. That worked for them but needs to be replaced for safety, of course. Second, there is a lightbulb on fan fixture that is burnt out in the bedroom that needs replaced. Third, there is a small door missing on the deck by the hot tub that leads to a drain. I take it this is for draining the tub, but without the door, a person could easily turn an ankle. We didn't notice until Sunday morning and had already used the tub the prior two nights. In the dark it could be a real danger. Fourth and possibly most important, in the morning I could see light shining into our bedroom through he corners of the cabin. We could hear a good deal of noise from our neighbors next door when in the bedroom and in the morning we figured out why. They liked to run their van to warm it up and also stand outside and talk, so we heard it all. It needs to be sealed up better for noise and heat loss. We enjoyed our stay but noticed these little things that could make the stay even better. Thank you for your time.

Really enjoyed the cabin and location. Heat was not on when we arrived so it was very cold in cabin. Could have used some extra bathroom towels.
