Are you looking for free holiday entertainment your whole family will love? Just minutes away from our Gatlinburg cabins, Tunes and Tales is the newest highlight of Gatlinburg’s Christmas celebration. Read on to find out everything you need to know about this wintertime treat!

1. What is Tunes and Tales?

Tunes and Tales is a group of carolers and storytellers who are giving free performances in Gatlinburg throughout the Christmas season. This talented troupe includes a full choir and a barbershop quartet. You won’t have any trouble finding them because they will be dressed up in full Victorian garb like the characters in Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol !

2. Where can I see a Tunes an Tales performance?

Tunes and Tales concerts will take place along the downtown Parkway in Gatlinburg. This is an incredibly convenient location, because many of our Gatlinburg cabins are only 1 or 2 miles from the downtown area! After enjoying an early dinner or just sipping a warm mug of hot chocolate in your cabin, you can head downtown for an enchanting evening of Christmas songs with your family.

3. When are the performances?

Tunes and Tales concerts last from 5pm - 9pm on Friday and Saturday evenings. You can catch this spectacular show on November 29 - 30, December 7, 13 -14 and 20 - 21.

4. Will there be any special guests?

Yes! Zeno the Bear, the famous Gatlinburg mascot, is rumored to make an appearance or two. Other notable performers include Santa’s elves, Mrs. Claus and Frosty the Snowman. Imagine your children’s excitement when they see their favorite Christmas characters come to life!
