The cabin is a great location, private and quiet, and just outside of Gatlinburg. Spacious and clean. Parkside staff are great and responsive!

Cabin was nice enough. Location was great. However, the cabin appeared to need several repairs. Main floor tub was cracked and tub faucet was loose and about to come off. The main floor bedroom whirlpool, the water knob wasn't attached to the fixture and the water could not even be ran. Not major issues, but the ability to use all the advertised amenities would be more ideal. Also, fixing these small repairs is just taking care of your investment. All in all, would recommend to a friend. We'll likely be using you guys again in the future.

Everything. Was fine a few cobwebs, but it's a cabin lots of bears. And we had Fun Bears.they were on the porch kind of spooky.

Could have have cleaned better. Cob webs ever where and floor sticky. No mop or broom in cabin either.

I was impressed by the booking process, the friendly, yet professional, staff and the cabin itself. Everything was top notch…and I was a travel agent for 35 years so I know bookings! Great advice given.

The cabin was in a great location and easy to find and get to. We had to call for more washcloths and got them quickly. The only other issue was something on the roof. An inspector came out within a half hour, but couldn't find anything. Didn't see any bears even though we were told there was activity around the area.

Bear paws was fantastic.. it was very quiet and relaxing.. we are actually able to see a few bears they were mining their own business just out looking for food and then bother anyone. We had a problem with our water not being hot enough and they sent Jason the maintenance guy to help us and he was there within the hour. You can't find that kind of service anywhere. I will definitely come back and spread the good word with all my friends.

Loved the Cabin…wish it had Curtains in windows and could use More pots and pans and the living room tv only had 2 channels to watch…

We enjoyed our stay. Great booking experience and recommendations over the phone. Website accurately showed the cabin. We lived our stay. However, the washing machine was in pretty rough shape. We cleaned the mildew out of the tray and tub. We recommend a sign saying leave open. The kitchen was adequate but it could be a bit better stocked for this who like to cook and a few books or games would make it perfecto. However, we loved it and would come again.

Booking was easy. Started online and ended up calling for a last minute getaway. The 10% discount for return visitors is a great perk. Another amazing perk is the garage parking passes!! The combination of those two things is what sways me from VRBO and AirBNB. My critiques for the BEAR PAUSE CABIN are as follows: - Both beds creak so loudly! From the downstairs bed you can hear the upstairs bed creaking from simply rolling over. Wish there was a way to correct this. - There is no be ventilation in the bathrooms. Would be nice to have that. - Time for my soap box… one of my biggest pet-peeves is when cabins/condos/hotels use white lighting in living spaces instead of soft, warm light. It’s ALWAYS better to go with a bright, warm white (3000- 4000 celvin) instead of a white light (6000+ celvin). The white light makes it feel like a garage or basement whereas bright, warm lighting (more yellowish in nature) is more inviting. It’s a worthwhile endeavor to stock supply rooms and train the maintenance teams to change living spaces’ light bulbs to correct color temperature. All in all, a great stay and fun time. Will return again!

Excellent cabin. Plenty of toiletries, towels, etc. About 3 minutes from the Parkway. Excellent location. My son & grandson enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. All around great stay. Thank you!

Overall I thought the cabin was fantastic. The fireplace did not work but they made up for this issue,and were very good at helping us with any issue that came up. Great place to stay and boy did we have a great time.

The gentleman I dealt with at check in was great. Cabin was clean. Rails on the porch could use a little sturdying and the glass on the windows and doors could've been cleaner, but otherwise a great cabin. Need chalk for pool table. More channel selection on TV, of course we may not have been on the right guide most said no access even the kid channels.

It is a place to relax I would recommend to other people

Great location, easy check in, very clean. We enjoyed the cabin, the many rocking chairs on the wrap around deck and had most everything we needed. A blow dryer, flat pan for the oven and a scrubby for the kitchen would be a nice addition. Not a complaint, just a suggestion.

The cabin needs a little TLC but it was comfortable and in a good location.

We had the best experience with Parkside, we did a last minute trip and they got us in last minute. They were super nice and helpful. The cabin was great, it could have had more things in it to be more accommodating, keep in mind it was a last minute trip for us so we could have brought it with us normally. We even stayed an extra night.

Cabin was secluded and clean. We are NEVWR disappointed when we book with y’all. Thanks so much for making our annual New Year’s trip so wonderful.

Loved our stay of Bear Pause! The cabin could use some repairs and a good cleaning. We had little kid hand prints on our glass doors and lots of dust. I can't imagine what it's like to keep up with so many cabins but just some extra love on this one. Such a lovely location and great area. Close to town but you don't feel like you are out in the wilderness. We look forward to staying with y'all again. Thank you very much!

Renting from Parkside was a great experience, from me making the reservation to me checking out. I love the look of the cabin, all the amenities were there, and the location of the cabin was perfect.

It was absolutely perfect! A few things bothered me like the stairs getting in the hot tub were a bit tricky. Definitely for elders. Besides that and very few minor things, it was amazing! Definitely recommend!

The staff was very friendly and we had no issues with checking in and out. Cabin was clean and well stocked with the essentials. Overall it was a great experience and we intend on using you again when we come for another visit.

Cabin was great, it had everything we needed. Although the cleaning could have been a little better, there was confetti still in the lights and under table, and balloons from previous renter. Also, bath tub in main living areas handle is broke off so was a little hard to use, but overall cleanliness and tub issue are just minor and didn’t effect our stay! Would stay again.

Loved the cabin and location! Great customer service when our heat went out, they were out there and on the problem immediately! Gave us some extra parking tickets for our inconvenience… Excellent proximity to the main parkway and downtown Gatlinburg. Only suggestion I have is to move the hot tub to the back deck, it’s not as private on the front porch and steps are hard to get to, also maybe repair the pool table( rip in the cloth) and add an arcade game and it will be perfect! Fantastic company to rent from and lots of choices to fit most anyone’s needs in cabins!

Check in and directions to cabin was easy and descriptive. Street description could have been better, we turned off on "old Carter Town road" not realizing we needed to drive further to " Carter Town road ". Accommodations were great. We had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the overall stay was enjoyable. We appreciated the amenities- especially the full size refrigerator with ice machine. We also appreciated the iron. However we did not find the ironing board until the day we checked out. As it was under the master bed. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Upstair sink didn't drain View is all grown over, so no view One fork for four people. All in all nice home Need some repairs done.

Cabin is in a great location. Quick to fix issues we had during our stay. Could be cleaner, especially floors and around bathtubs. Shower curtain way too long in main floor bath, water leaking out of faucet in main floor bedroom, dishwasher does not work properly (soap does not dispense), needs a full set of silverware.

Cabin was clean and beds were comfortable. Love the location.

Very easy check in, and very easy checkout. Cabin was clean. Only downfall was that we spent a lot of time outside on the deck and it sounded like a dog kennel very close by and the dogs never stopped barking. But other than that, it was a excellent place and secluded which was very nice!

I had some porch lights that were out on the cabin and I called and you had someone out there to replace the lights within an hours of calling. I didnt expect someone to come that quick.

The stay at the cabin was great. The only things is that whomever is cleaning isn't doing a good job at dusting and cleaning the back of the toilet. On the last day we decided to go down and play pool and there was a dead mice is the corner.

Nice cabin ... needs some detail cleaning. Lots of cob webs and cigarette butts in the grass ( prob 60 ) Just a suggestion I would use some product to get rid of the carpenter bees, they are eating out the wood on the side.

First visit to the Smokies could not have been better! The proximity of the cabin to downtown Gatlinburg and the national park is very convenient. The cabin was easy to find, the online pictures of the cabin were accurate. We hope to make it back soon and invite more family to along and enjoy these cabins!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The upstairs mattress was not comfy at all, this is the first time I have had an uncomfortable bed when staying in your cabins.

Nice cabin in a somewhat secluded location (exception of the vehicles being parked by the entrance of this cabin's driveway due to the nearby cabins and their adjacent steep driveways). Floors were quite dirty and are in need of a good scrubbing. In addition, there appears to be years of dust under the beds and in the corners. With a good thorough cleaning and many minor repairs, this would be a GREAT cabin.

The home we stayed at was called bear pause and it was beyond our expectations in the beauty aspect. It could have been swept and mopped though. Otherwise it was beautiful. Also, a wedding was held next door and it wasn't that noticeable. A heads up would've been nice. But. Overall experience amazing, will be going again. Thank you, Fumagalli family.

We loved Bear Pause! The cabin worked perfectly for us. It was clean and had all the amenities that we needed. The check-in staff was friendly and helpful and the extra coupons were very helpful. We will recommend Parkside Cabins to our friends!

It was really great! The stay was so cosy and relaxing.The house pictures which i saw on the site was exactly the same when i reached there. The facilities were awesome. We were provided with every basic things. The Gatlinburg donwtown was very near from our cabin.

My husband and I have been renting with Parkside for over a decade now, and have never been disappointed. Each cabin has a little something unique to offer and we love that we can choose a cabin on our own, or can call in, tell someone what we'd like, and get matched to the perfect cabin. We did have a slight mishap on our last stay...let's just say an unbolted dryer stacked on a new unleveled washing machine on a tile floor...yep...took a tumble. I called Parkside and alerted them to our, ahem, little situation, and the service was prompt and professional. Being there this time was a little more surreal seeing the first hand damage of the Gatlinburg fire, but nothing could keep us from this area, we love it. We especially love Parkside and all the friendly, accommodating staff and maintenance men.

This was our second stay in Bear Pause. It was as lovely as we remembered it to be. Very comfortable and convenient to downtown and other activities.

The cabin turned into our home away from home. It was very reassuring knowing that we had a kitchen we could fix real meals in, saving us from having to eat out every meal. Also having a washer and dryer was so nice. It was used quite a lot. It was nice going home with our suitcases full of clean clothes instead of a dirty laundry bag. (This was a big plus for this mom) We were so please with the prompt response in the need for trash pick up and the need of more towels for our family of 5. Yes, we did wash them but you provided us with more than plenty of soap to do so. I was very worried about how accommodating you would be, as we have had some negative hotel experiences, but I was very at ease and was able to enjoy our stay and rest and re cooperate. Thank you so, so much. We will definitely be using your company again. The Schrader 5

Our first time renting a cabin vs a hotel and we enjoyed the cabin very much. There were some cleaning issues that I had mentioned at check out-- not as a complaint, but as an observation. The air vent at the top of the basement stairs was very dusty, and the inside of the wall of windows in the dining / living rooms had some long term cobwebs . Otherwise the cleanliness of the interior was good. I realize it is extremely difficult to keep the exterior clean at all times due to the mountain location, but the back did look like it had not been cleaned recently . Our 10 yr old grandson enjoyed the hot tub, and the pool table was good for family entertainment! Overall a pleasant vacation, and would stay there again if our travels bring us back to the area.

Staff was very helpful at check-in. Process was quick and easy and we were on our way in less than 10 minutes. Cabin was just as we expected from the pictures on the website. We would recommend Park Side Cabin Rentals to anyone visiting the Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge area.

Easy to book, the driving instructions to the cabin were easy to follow,cabin was very nice, and the staff was polite and helpfull, overall very good.

Love th the cabin. The only thing we had to complain about is your policy on making sure all the dishes are clean before you leave. Your policy should be to oad them in the dishwasher. Because once we got there and got out the plates halfway down the stack of plates they had dirty dishes were someone just threw them in the cabinets dirty because they were too lazy to clean them.

The cabin was nice and had everything we needed there, but it could have been cleaned better. For the price, I would not have expected to see cobwebs in the place and on the walls or mildew in the shower.

It was a nice secluded cabin but it needed some upkeep. For example there were spiderwebs inside and I dustbunnies under the beds.

We took 3 of our grandchildren with us on our trip. When we walked into the cabin one of them exclaimed, oh grandma...you did good!!! She loved the cabin. It was very nice & clean. We were very comfortable there. We loved the location.

Bear Pause was in a beautiful location in Gatlinburg! We loved the seclusion and the awesome amenities. We even stayed an extra night because we didn't want to leave! The staff at the rental office were all courteous and helpful. Keep it up! We even used the indoor pool at the Fairfield.....nice extra perk. Even though we're local Sevier Countians, we escaped reality for a few days and loved celebrating our 20th anniversary in a gorgeous cabin.
