Remote check-in was a breeze. having the option to not travel all the way to the office made the process much more smooth.

We really enjoyed our stay! My only complaint was the wifi not working on the TV at times. We didn’t have problems on our phones/computers but there were several times the wifi on the tv (Disney+, YouTube, etc) didn’t work

This is the fourth time that we have stayed with Parkside and never been disappointed. They have taken very good care of our family. The cabin is always clean and the staff always friendly.

Really enjoyed our stay, a few maintenance issues toilet in first floor BR was clogged, BR we love this place and your team was very responsive unfortunately not equipped to resolve all maintenance issues. The BR door upstairs was difficult to close needs to be cut down on the corner about a 1/16 inch to close properly, low water pressure throughout the house. Virtually no pressure upstairs in the one BR

The check in process was so easy. I also had some hiccups and you all helped me figure things out easily. Some of the rooms in the main cabin were not super clean.

Everything was clean, beds were comfy. Wifi, could be better. TV in outer cabin wouldn't turn on. The walk in shower's curtain isn't long enough, it leaks into downstairs.

Loved the cabin. Could use some dusting, spaying for roaches/bugs. Plumbing wasn't the best in the showers were slow to drain.

Great!! There were no comforters on the bed I called you brought out promptly then door handle broke and you came out promptly also. Everything we were very happy. They place could use a little updating but it was fine for us and what we needed it for.

The cabin needed more cleaning. Cobwebs everywhere. Layout of the rooms were great. Master bathroom and water needs major upgrade. View was spectacular.

Parkside Staff was amazing. Whenever we called they were pleasant and friendly and most importantly helpful! I always felt like they were truly there to make my stay a great one. My only issues were with the house itself. We stayed at Valentine's View and the house had some issues that unfortunately Parkside staff couldn't fix for us at no fault of their own. The kitchen only had 2 small skillets, so coming for 11 people was absolutely impossible. The house wifi didn't reach the entire house let alone the small outside cabin or the pavilion. Without wifi there was no cell phone usage anywhere on the property except the living room with the router and the rooms directly above the living room. The tubs and sinks in the bathrooms were clogged to the point that the water would take 2 or 3 minutes to clear the drain after the shower or sink was no longer in use. The house needs maintenance but I am thinking that would fall on the owner to take care of. I did report the lack of pots and pans to the staff at Parkside but I know there was nothing they could do about the issue. I would absolutely recommend Parkside to a friend but most likely not Valentine's View as the place to stay.

The cabin needs some maintenance done to it. It seems to be sinking in the center of the cabin. Also needs some lamps replaced and sprayed for carpenter bees

We rented the cabin for our 40th anniversary and it was perfect for our family of 19. I rated it at an 4 star instead of 5 because there are some handyman repairs that need to be addressed. A lot of the doors and cabinet doors need attention, most of the sinks and drains are nearly clogged and there is a huge hornet problem on all the decks, especially the main deck on the first floor of the main cabin. They’re so bad drilling all over in the wood that you can’t even set on the deck during the afternoon. We would definitely rent the cabin again because we loved the layout and overall is a perfect cabin but the above issues listed needs attention.

Very nice cabin. Easy access, although not sure why you have to go into Gatlinburg to get the key codes (check-in). Well-accommodated our large family event with beds to spare. Beds very comfy. Could have used a little deep-cleaning (eg. in corners and under furniture) but overall acceptable. Had a great week-end celebrating Dad's 90th Birthday!

Amazing view off the back deck, enjoyed the rocking chairs and having coffee in the morning there. Loved the covered pavilion with fire place and hot tub, we played some family games out there. Plenty of places to sit and more rocking chairs! Pool table was fun too in other building. My husband and I stayed in the main bedroom upstairs with balcony. We did not have hot water in shower coming from faucet only cold so we used shower downstairs. There was hot water from faucet in sink but could not figure out why not shower? Quite a few wood bees on back deck buzzing around us. My daughter-in-law got stung by a bee (yellow jacket) that got in house but not allergic. We were pleased with amount of grass/area for our pet to walk around. There was ample parking. I loved the big kitchen table in the kitchen to accommodate everyone. Overall a very good experience in a beautiful cabin!

Our rental was May 2024. We absolutely loved staying here. My siblings, their spouses, my father and a few of the kids had a family get together here. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own bedroms & bathrooms. My daughter decided to get married while we here & the pavilion was an awesome place to have a few family members to have a small reception. The fire place under the pavilion is were we spent several nights around socializing especially when it was raining. AC worked very well. If you are cold natured bring extra blankets. The views off the deck were awesome. Wished we could have stayed longer. This is our second time using Parkside and will be using them in the future.

Our family had a great vacation staying at Valentine's View. The things that I would hear from our family is that the toilets were not in the best condition and didn't flush well. I also would like to point out that extra blankets would be a plus in this particular rental. The master bedroom upstairs was an "ice box" or "meat locker". My son called it an icebox when he came into our room. I referred to it as a meat locker. While our room froze us out with the AC on, the other rooms according to my family members didn't offer much cool air. It would've been nice to have a little more wood for burning in the outside fireplace. We used the wood sparingly so that we wouldn't run out. I would also point out that instead of a very large mirror when walking through the front door, it would've been nice to have a wall rack for hanging hats, Jackets and car keys. The refrigerator is also missing a shelf, which caused me to become creative. So I found a cutting board that was large enough to cover part of the area. Other than those few fixes, we had a great time and made lots of memories.

Cabin was great and the pavilion area is where we spent most of our time. I had my wedding reception there it was fun for all.

The cabin was even better than described. Everything was very clean. There was plenty of room for all of us. The view off the back sitting area was beautiful. Our favorite part was the pavilion with the hot tub and large fireplace. We will definitely try and book this cabin again.

Expectations were met. We had a nice stay. Oven needed a new heating element. Only 3 coffee cups. Not enough eating utensils. These were easy to work around.

House needed updated with small things such as toilet paper holders and trash cans, Ya’ll should be embarrassed for advertising what is supposed to be a pool table when the one there should have been thrown in the trash, very unfortunate for a group of guys that grew up in a pool hall! Also need a metal container for fireplace ashes. Overall wasn’t bad.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Parkside Cabin Rentals Valentine's View cabin. The cabin was spacious, the scenery was breathtaking, and the whole experience was lovely. Shout out to the maintenance team: On check-in, we noted that the upstairs air-conditioner was not working and called it in so the office immediately sent a maintenance technician to troubleshoot the issue. He was professional, polite and went right to work. When he determined that the problem couldn't be fixed that evening, he brought two portable air-conditioners to get us thru the night. Maintenance issues are unexpected and are no one's fault. The care, concern, and speed of Parkside in resolving the issue impressed me. Thanks Parkside for a fantastic family vacation!

We had an amazing time at Valentines View! There was plenty of space for all the families that were here. Hot tub and pavilion was a hit for hanging out in a common area. We had kids and adults of all ages and we all had something to do and never were bored! We had a great time!

Valentines view was beyond our expectations! The pictures online do not do it justice. Best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in- voted by all 10 of us. Found the cabin to be well stocked, what extra we needed we picked up at dollar store and left for the next person. Beds were great, especially the upstairs master. Was a little confused on the trash situation. Check-in told us to call for pick up but the pick up guy told us we had a bear proof container, so we weren’t sure what to do. Parking passes were great, check- in even gave us a couple extra since we had 5 cars from people coming in from different cities. Loved that the cabin was near Greenbriar entrance to GSMNP- much less crowded, you should advertise that. Thank you for a fantastic vacation!

The cabin was beautiful! The check-in process was quick and simple! Everything in the cabin worked as it should, we had zero issues!

Overall it was a great...loved the location and privacy. Suggestions would maybe replace pool table and clean the door/entry to the apartment. We had a great time and Parkside was wonderful to work with.

Valentine View Cabin was the perfect cabin for our family. We have never stayed that far out on 321 before but loved the area. The cabin had everything we wanted, space galore, a great pavilion that we spend every evening, a nice, big yard for the kids to play and more bedrooms and bathrooms than we originally realized! The view was one of the best we've ever had and the best part was the super easy drive to get there. The kids absolutely loved the little doorway to "The treehouse" . It was so unique and super cute. The covered decks were also so appreciated. I can't say enough good things about this cabin. Our son and his family throughly enjoyed the guest house cabin too. The pool table has definitely seen better days, but nobody even cared to play. Thanks Parkside too for the garage parking passes in Gatlinburg. That is such a plus. Next time we have the whole family going we will definitely book this cabin again!

The cabin was spacious and had plenty of room for our whole family. It was very relaxing and comfortable. The mother suite was very nice. One of the showers the water did not get hot but there was 5 other bathrooms to use. We plan on coming back again.

Loved the Cabin , especially they yard space. Only thing I would change is it needs more cookware, I had to buy a big skillet. But the view was fabulous, beds comfy, fireplace was excellent. I will come again.

We enjoyed our stay. Loved the deck area and the pavilion since the weather was nice. Cabin needs a deep clean. Beds were comfortable, but 2 of them did not have duvets, just the covers. Overall we had a wonderful time.

We thought the main house and MIL house was very comfortable. The mattresses and bedding were comfortable and clean and much appreciated. The location was exceptional, we could not have been more pleased. The porch furniture was very much enjoyed. The pavilion with fireplace and hot tub was were a real treat, especially on the one rainy day we had during our stay. Reservation and check in was expedient. We had no issues that required us to contact the office during our stay. Directions, area attraction info and parking coupons were very nice. As a family of 6 adults who like to cook the majority of our vacation meals in our rental, I would like to offer a few suggestions. I never once thought to complain about anything but I think the following suggestions would be most appreciated by future guests. For a rental that sleeps over 15, I recommend a kitchen update. It was difficult to prepare a meal for six adults, these suggestions would be most appreciated : (12) coffee cups (there were 5) (12) 12 oz wine glasses (there were maybe 6 small wine glasses) (1) 3 pack of small, med, large non-stick baking sheets (there was one blackened sheet) I would replace the misc. cookware with something like a T-Fal 18 piece Cookware set. "SET INCLUDES: 3-qt. Saucepan, 1-qt. Saucepan with Lid, 8" Frying Pan, 2-qt. Saucepan with Lid, 5 qt. Stockpot, Slotted Spoon, Spoon, 10" Skillet with Lid, 4 qt. Stockpot, 11" Frying Pan, Slotted Turner" ( I just copied and pasted from Amazon as an example) (There were no large frying pans and too many misc. pots/small pans taking up valuable space. There was a griddle but no power cord that we could find. There were two slow cookers that really needed a good cleaning. One would be nice but it's not something I expect in a vacation rental and all took up a lot of valuable kitchen cabinet space. I would rather have the cabinet space for groceries. There was enough cabinet space for majority of existing cookware to be stored leaving the pull out drawer cabinet free as a food pantry. (I moved some of those items to other cabinets to free space for groceries and recommend the kitchen be reorganized for better food storage options) At least 2 large glass bowls for salads/mixing (There was 1 large and some smaller bowls and a large plastic bowl) and a few small bowls for serving would be nice. A Keurig and coffee cups and drink glasses in the MIL house would have been very nice. Again, kitchen issues certainly not a deal breaker but it did make me think to bring disposable or items from home to cook with should we rent this unit again and I prefer not to have to do that, of course). I know that vacation rentals can take a beating but inventorying and replacing kitchen items when needed would be a real plus for this unit. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and hope to return in the future. Location can't be beat!

When we arrived, the refrigerator in the main house, was not cool enough. The maintenance man came out and tried to get it running. It never did cool down and we lost some food. It needs repaired or replaced. The hot tub was not working correctly either. The maintenance man got it running and was going to bring a new filter. He did not return and by the end of our stay the water was turning green. Everything else was wonderful.

Everything was great. Cabin was a little messy (had bugs in the floor and dishes were dusty). Parking was a little small for a cabin that holds that many people but overall, it was great.

Was an amazing view! Beautiful cabin! The only thing that was wrong is the dishwasher didn't work properly and the air conditioner upstairs was having difficulty cooling the upstairs on the day it was 75 degrees.

Loved the location of the cabin and the customer service of staff was amazing (as always). There are a few items with the cabin itself that weren't as updated as we usually find with a Parkside Cabin rental, but this didn't ruin our trip. We will definitely stay with Parkside again.

Everything at the cabin was fabulous! We had a great time. We had 4 grandkids with us under the age of 6. Having the yard was an added bonus. We had fires by the hot tub while playing Jumanji and watching the NCAA. Awesome!!!

I loved the view from the kitchen and from the master bedroom. Everyone enjoyed their stay and loved the outdoor fireplace. I would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed Valentine's View. It was perfect for our getaway to the mountains. Everyone in our group of 13 had more than enough space to relax and have their own peace and quiet. The kitchen was adequately stocked and the view was one of the best we've experienced. We would definitely recommend Valentine's View to friends and family and we would definitely book again for another stay.

My family has stayed with you for many years. This was the 1st time we needed to change our reservations. We changed it to the following week and a different cabin location. Upon arrival we found out there was an error made on our arrival date. We were given a cabin for the night but had to wait to move the next day. We all felt we lost a beautiful day to explore by waiting around to move then finally unload our vehicles with all we pack for staying in a cabin.

The stay was great. Our only minor issue was locksets on doors to the porch did not work well and it was hard to get the latch to release so we could open the doors. This cabin had an emergency generator. We were sitting around Saturday night and the power went off. 15 to 20 seconds later the generator came on the we had power again. Very nice.

We absolutely loved the cabin. The secluded location was perfect and the mountain views were gorgeous. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed. Our stay was very relaxing and refreshing. We look forward to staying there again in the future.

The staff was wonderfull, we held a wedding at the cabin and had MANY questions. Many calls were made and many different staff members were spoken to, everyone was wonderful! Extra bedding was promptly delivered when requested, the cabins (Valentine's view) both had plenty of started supplies, and everything worked!

Checking in was fast and easy. They were quick in fixing any issues we had. The repair man sent out was so friendly and helpful. Overall made our first experience to the Smokey Mountains the BEST experience ever. I can’t tell enough to all my family and friends how much I recommend Parkside Cabin Rentals. We’re already planning another trip and will definitely be using Parkside again!

We were celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary with our entire family of 15. It was a perfect location and a perfect house to accomodate all of us. Hope to see you again.

This was our first time renting a cabin and it was fantastic. The cabin was gorgeous, decorations were beautiful, and it had everything we needed to enjoy out vacation. The views were breathtaking. I did not want to leave. We will definitely be renting again. If I had to say anything negative it would be that the water could have been hotter and the toilets on the bottom floor didn't flush very well. But overall it was a beautiful cabin we made great memories in. Thank you.

This is our third stay at valentines view. We love the cabin and parkside service is great. The cabin does need some attention w a couple items: Guest house bath: broken exhaust fan and cracked toilet seat. Kitchen: only 6 drinking glasses for 18 bed house. The toaster is broken. There is a broom but no dust pan. Besides these annoyances, the stay was great.

This trip came at a perfect time for my entire family. We stayed at the Valentine cabin which my family of 8 adults and young grandchild slept very comfortably. I loved we did NOT need to go into the middle of Gatlinburg for anything. The younger kids hiked while the others stayed at the cabin or shopped at the Arts and Craft Communities. The hot tub was perfect in the evening to whined down and relax in front of a fire. The only thing seemed the wood for the outside fire place was not seasoned so, it took a very long time (and a lot of lighter fluid)to get it started and maintained.

First of all the check-in was quick and easy and everything was explained to me. The cabin was clean and equipped with everything we needed and unlike others places we have stayed they did not short us on towels and wash clothes. Check out was easy as well. Since we did not have any problems there was no need to call for anything. Yes, we will book with you all again. Thanks.

We had a great time. It is close enough to Gatlinburg for us. Everything was clean and ready for all of us. The bad, odor in the up stairs bedroom bath. A good number of the jets in the outdoor spa were inoperative. Pool table cloth worn out. This place is awesome. The people are very nice and accommodating. Thanks again Les

Very well. The cabin worked very well for our group of 14. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The two cabins was a really nice touch. We only had one small issue of someone getting locked in the bathroom but the friendly staff got there quickly so it wasn't a big deal! Great job!

We enjoyed our stay, the house was just right for my family. The only thing missing was a microwave in the game room house. We will definitely book again with Parkside.

The cabin was excellent as far as furnishing, amenities and location. However, it was very dirty in some areas. The bathroom sinks and toilets had hair in several of the rooms. There was a large amount of dust on the HVAC intake closet door before you go up the stairs. There was a mouse on a glue trap in the closet beside the kitchen, with a large amount of mouse feces. None of these issues were a game changer for me because we were there with our student ministry group. However, there are certain people I would not recommend the cabin to because of the lack cleanliness. Overall it was an excellent, easy and friendly experience.

This was our third stay with Parkside, everyone has been so friendly through all of our visits...from the booking til check out. The check out procedure was made stress free.

The Valentines View was a beautiful place to stay at. We had a very large group and it accommodated our needs.

I had my wedding, reception, and honeymoon at this beautiful cabin! It is much bigger than the photos and description show. There is a large shaded grassy area behind the cabin that was perfect for our wedding. This cabin is ideal for family gatherings and events. The parkside people were amazing as well. They were very accommodating and even brought us 55 chairs for free for the wedding day. The description on the website was a little confusing- upstairs there are 2 small rooms with queen beds, one large room with a twin and king. Downstairs there is the master bedroom and literally a hole in the wall that is shaped like a tree that leads to a cute little room with bunk beds. The adjoining cabin has larger bunk beds in the game room, and two queen beds in the other bedroom. It says that there is a sleeper sofa- I thought that it meant that there was a pull out bed- but we couldn't find one. Either way- the cabin was more than enough space for everyone. Overall, I loved my experience at the Valentine's View (oh and what a view!)!

Great experience with the staff. We stayed at the same canin, Valentines View, last year. After reading the reviews on what upgrades it needed I totally agreed. It said the king mattress in the master bedroom needed replacing, needed more cookware, among other things. I thought the owner would have addressed these issues within the year that had lapsed but they had not. We had a plumbing issue last yr when we stayed and the man who came put a hole in the ceiling near the washer and dryer and it hasn't been patched. Definitely needed more cookware, old mattress in master, the remotes did not operate the TVs in any rooms except to turn them on except living room , no mop to clean the wood floors, had to use a towel, and washer did not work. We will not be returning to stay in Valentine's View again. It is too much money for just a mediocre cabin. However, I will rent from Parkside again, just a different cabin.

Staff was great to work with. The only thing that we were concerned about was trash pickup. We called on the morning of December 24, but still no pickup by our check-out time on December 26. We gave the staff at your office a list of about 8-10 minor maintenance items upon our checkout (towel bars down, shower fixtures in need of maintenance, etc.)

I loved the cabin dishes were still in the dishwasher ones in cabinets had hard dried stuff on them. I really don't know if it had been cleaned a bar of soften soap was stuck on tub in master bedroom. The mattress in the master was terribly uncomfortable. Slept upstairs in bedroom after one of our children left and it was very comfortable. The investment in new mattress for master would be a smart business decision.

We had a blast,it was fun.The cabin was well maintained although we wish the kitchen was better stocked with more cooking utensils and maybe add some potholders as there was absolutely none.The view was great as long as you don't look down from the porch as someone threw trash down the hill.My kids loved the hidden tree room off the master suite,that was the coolest thing I've seen!Although it was cold we spent most of our time under the pavilion with a fire going watching Christmas movies and talking.Very beautiful and well worth it!
