The desk staff was very friendly and very informative about the area and points of interest. One of the gentlemen there noticed my vehicle decals and other things that sparked conversation ( resident evil inspired) . He gave me the run down on various areas that are worth seeing, which in turn made my anniversary trip even more special. Its encounters like this that make the difference, for which I am thankful. The cabin was great. I will definitely be coming back in the fall for another vacation away from the busy life.

Cabin was perfect!!! Super clean, accommodating, and great location. Loved the free parking passes to downtown - and super easy to navigate back to the cabin. Check in and out was super easy and the person at the desk was so helpful and friendly!

I. Have stayed with Parkside cabin rentals at least 4.Maybe 5 times now.And I have never had anything other than an amazingly positive experience. I believe. There was a little miscommunication between a few employees about what ya'll could do as far as getting the plow out there for snow. But it all worked out and I feel like the service provided by Parkside is timely, consistent, and exceptional. You guys are amazing.

Our stay was just as cozy and private as we wanted for our trip this weekend. Definitely coming back with the kids in another cabin.

The cabin was absolutely all we wanted and more, cozy, warm , inviting. My wife was a little disappointed that we didn't see any wildlife ( lol) but we enjoyed our stay ❤️.

The faucet in the bathroom does not put out any cold water whatsoever . It continues to get hotter and hotter . Needs replacement .

Cabin was great clean and accessible. Only downfall is need a light over shower it is so dark trying to shower and shave. Other than that beautiful views and well kept. Great scenery.

Overall, the process of renting, checking in and checking out went well. The key code lock system worked well for us. As for the cabin we rented, overall it was nice and the location was very good however, there were several maintenance items that needed to be addressed along with several other minor but annoying things.

Everything was great as far as making the reservation and check-in and check-out. Staff was very friendly. Just a little disappointed that the cabin we stay in that the owner decided not to have a wood burning fireplace anymore. That was the beauty of the cabin. We have been staying in the same cabin for 10 plus years at least 3 times a year. It was disappointing for sure. We had issues with the hot tub not working but called front desk and it was taken care of within the hour. The cabin does need some work but still a beautiful place to stay. Hopefully the owner will change his mind about the fireplace but allow people to buy their own wood. Overall everything was great!

Everything was great. Sad we have to leave a day early for a family emergency. I did notice the back door won’t stay shut unless you lock it, so any time we went in the deck the door stayed open no matter what we tried.also would have been nice to have some hiking trail maps or recommendations, Lovely cabin and wonderful staff at check in. We will come back when we’re in the area!

We stay at Parkside Cabins year after year and just love our stay each and every time. The staff are always so friendly and always go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect at check in. Check out is always a breeze. All u have to do is just call the office and let them know you are checking out. We always look forward to our next stay.

There was blue toothpaste left on the bathroom vanity. That makes you feel like nothing is clean. Once we were over that, the cabin is very cozy and we felt conveniently located as we were out of town, but only a few miles. This was our 2nd stay with you.

Cabins are always super clean and provides all necessary accommodations. Staff are amazing.

The cabin was clean and was everything that it was advertised to be and more. It was a perfect stay and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Everything was wonderful. Cabin was perfect for the two of us, Jeff was great at check-in.

The cabin was nice and cozy. The few things that could have been improved on are as follows: 1. The lightning in the cabin could have been brighter. I felt that it was a little dim in the cabin. 2. There was no light and/or exhaust fan over the shower itself. The only light in bathroom was out in the open area where sink and toilet were. 3. Front door for was not secured to track at bottom. 4. The outlets located at the corner of bathroom wall in the dining room of cabin had no power. 5. The information for the television channels said "no information", or something like that, for every channel. 6. The front door to cabin could use some adjusting so it shuts and locks more securely.

Check in, location, tubs were great. Bathroom needs a redo.

Cabin was really nice. Had all the amenities we needed. Even got to come face to face with a black bear as we were leaving. Lol.

Overall the cabin was nice- just the right size for the two of us. Some things that need addressed or to consider to make the stay even better. The cabin could use a deep cleaning as the dust from the furnace is all over the rough walls. The refrigerator ran a lot (it seemed like all night long), more than it should be running. Maybe it's full of dust but it needs checked out. The bifold door by the dryer is broken/off the track and the washer is very dirty (possibly mold) along the inside rim. The exterior doors don't shut tight (can see daylight thru them). The shower door is broken/off the track and the bathroom faucet was messed up. More towels would be awesome especially with using the hot tub. The hot tub should be looked at when drained as my husband picked a piece of broken glass out of it while we were using it. Some of the deck boards could use replaced as they are rotten. One last thing- the street light shines right in the kitchen window even with the blinds closed making it hard to sleep. Maybe some blackout curtains over the blinds would be helpful. I'm not sure how you could fix this one but the cabin has a very strong smell of smoke from the fireplace. So much so, I can smell it on a jacket when I got home! It's quite offensive when walking in the door. Gatlinburg is a beautiful area to visit and Sparrows Nest is a nice little secluded cabin to stay in. Thanks for the memories. With just a few tweaks, it could be a really awesome place!

We very much enjoyed our stay! It’s perfect for two people. And we absolutely LOVED the hot tub and the jacuzzi tub! How ever could use a new bed. But other then that we loved our stay. It was our third time stay with parkside cabin rentals. Friendly staff that answered all of our questions. Can’t wait for our next vacation with them!

I had a great time. I would give 5 stars if it wasn’t for the cleaning company. They arrived an hour early and parked outside the house and behind my car. It was concerning because I did not know who it was at first. They then came to the door and knocked at 10:45 when we still at 15 minutes to check out. She was incredibly rude when we explained to her that the checkout time was 11am and that we still had 15 minutes. She kept denying this and told us we had to leave. We left at 10:55 and showed her the sheet on the way out to try and explain why we thought the checkout time was 11 (because it was explicitly stated). She was dismissive, rude, and unprofessional and left the trip on a sour note.

The first night the pipes were frozen in the cabin we had reserved. Parkside was so kind to put us in another cabin for that night and deducted all the extra fees. We were happily back to our original cabin the next day. This is the second time we have stayed in a Parkside cabin, but won't be the last!

Customer service was great!! The cabin was very nice but needed to be cleaned. The lock on the cabin was broken.

It was an amazing experience overall and the one miniscule problem we had was rectified immediately. We look forward to staying there again soon!!

We loved the Sparrows Nest cabin! It was perfect for our getaway. The only suggestions we have for improvement would be to fix the sliding shower door. It has trouble staying in its track and could potentially be dangerous to guests.

The only reason I’m not leaving five stars is because the cabin was supposed to be a non-smoking cabin but as soon as we walked through the front door the smell of cigarettes was strong and no it was not the fire place we were smelling we definitely know the difference. The back balcony porch was covered in cigarette ashes especially by the chairs and all around the hot tub and there was something white floating in the bottom of the hot tub. The shower door was not properly operational, like it was broken or wasn’t installed properly, the complementary shampoos, conditioners, etc. were not restocked, they were either empty or half empty, which wasn’t really a deal breaker, we always take our own just in case.

Our experience was absolutely amazing! We were so sad to leave, almost felt like home !

Cabin was super cute! A little difficult to get to at night, and I wish there were curtains in the place, other than that it was great!

We enjoyed the bigger table than last time we stayed in that cabin. Clean. We've stayed there at least three other times. Thank you. There was no sink stopper for doing dishes.

We had an Amazing time! Jeff made check-in super easy and was knowledgeable about the area's best restaurants! Sparrow's Nest was so cozy and perfect for my husband and I. The only small criticism I have is that the cabin needed to be a little cleaner. Upon arriving, we found long black strands of hair on two of the pillow cases, on the sheets under the comforter and in the jacuzzi tub which was still pretty dirty. Not a deal breaker for us, because we only wanted to use the hot tub outside and we just used the other pillows. Regardless of that, we loved our stay and can't wait to stay with Parkside Cabin Rentals again!

Have been going to Gatlinburg with my husband for four years now. We try to go the same week each year for our anniversary. The first year we went, he purposed to me in the Oak View cabin. Now, for the past three years, we’ve been staying in the Sparrows Nest cabin. We love it and have made it a tradition to get our picture taken on the couch of the cabin each year!

The cabin was cozy and spotless. A couple things didn't work right (toaster and some lights, for instance), but it didn't affect our stay. We made our reservations with Jeff. He was super helpful with making recommendations for activities and dining in the area, extremely friendly, and well-spoken (making reservations over the phone was simple with Jeff). If we find ourselves in the area again, we will absolutely make a reservation with Parkside Cabins.

My husband and I stayed for a week get away. The cabin was clean and staff at the office were helpful and nice.

We are always satisfied with our stay! It would be convenient for us to have a box of matches for cabins with a fireplace, but more of a suggestion than a negative remark!

The cabin site was lovely and quiet, the scenery was great and the cabin size was a perfect size! Loved the hot tub and jacuzzi amd the bed was big and cozy!

Loved the cabin cozy.Hot tub on porch need some maintenance like head cushion on one end was missing.Also needs hangers in closet and a chest of drawers some where to put your clothes except your suitcase.also a light in wash area hard to see to wash clothes and light over shower.

We had a great stay! It was the perfect little getaway. We saw a bear one day even wondering around the neighbors yard. Only concern was that the hot tub did not get very hot and always seemed to stay around 99 or so. Otherwise a perfect place to getaway!

Overall great experience! Only thing to note, the kitchenette chairs are pretty rickety.. and should be replaced. But cabin was clean, great location. Will stay again.

My wife and stayed at the sparrows nest. The cabin was just few minutes away from town but was nicely hidden in the hill side away from the other cabins. The site didn’t have pictures of the bathroom when we booked It’s okay it just needs a up to date remodel.

The cabin was ideal for our needs; close to the wedding chapel, shopping, and dinning! ! It was quiet and we'll supplied with necessaries . The iron needs to be replaced; it was not usable and the bathroom sink has a slow drain that needs attention. Clothes hangers in the closet would have been a plus. These are minor compared to the overall appearance of the cabin. We were VERY happy with our stay and plan to return again and again, with my iron and clothes hangers in hand!!!

Check in staff very friendly and helpful. Cabin just as pictured, cozy and clean. Perfect for two people. There are patio chairs in the front, so we sat out and watched the sunrise and chairs on the back deck to watch the sunset. Hot tub very clean. One draw back was the curvy steep road leading up to the cabin. However, the location to town more than made up for it. Secluded but close. Would recommend this cabin to family and friends.

Very good. The cabin was excellent, the only downfall was that our hot tub didn't work! We had to call someone twice to come and look and it and they told us it was the oldest one they had and it always has problems.

Staying at the nest was great. Awesome layout of the cabin and beautiful views outside. Wild turkeys in the front yard were an unexpected surprise. Only negative was the toilet ran every time and just needs a little adjusting. Would recommend for a quite get away.

bathroom floor was old and dirty looking as was the hot tub cover. Bed was comfortable. No pantry and little prep area to cook. Ok for a few days but not for a longer stay
