Happy Bear is a 3-story, 2-bedroom cabin located just a short drive from downtown Gatlinburg, offering a comfortable layout with space to relax on every level. Each bedroom features a king bed, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom. The upper-level suite includes a stand-up shower and a separate jacuzzi tub, while the lower-level suite offers a bath with a shower/jacuzzi combo.
The main living area includes a gas fireplace, flat-screen TV, and a sleeper sofa, along with a fully equipped kitchen for easy meals. Downstairs, a pool table provides a fun space to unwind.
Additional conveniences include two indoor jacuzzi tubs, a washer and dryer, and a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking.
Step outside onto the deck to relax in the private hot tub while enjoying the view.

Our stay was very nice. We had no serious issues. There were a few things that inconvenient. We had trouble getting the internet to consistently work both on the roku tvs and and I couldn't get my computer to connect to the wifi. This was only a minor inconvenience because that wasn't what we were there to do. The staff at the office were awesome and very helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay with Parkdide again and recommend to others.

We vacation in the Smokies every year. Parkside cabin Rentals is where we stay every year and we have stayed in several of them and it is always a wonderful stay. Everything is always so perfect and so clean. We always just feel so welcomed and when it's time to leave we wish we could stay so much longer just because of you're cabins. Our stay was Awesome, we Loved the cabin! We were concerned about the upstairs toilet, it flushed slow and a little water would bubble up in the tub or sink. Thank You so much it was a Great stay!

We had a fantastic stay with Parkside cabins. The cabin was exactly as listed. It was clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The staff was friendly and they were quick to respond to any issues. I highly recommend Parkside. They give you the free parking passes for Gatlinburg too, an extra bonus that saves$

Cabin was great except that it was built on a mountainside and had no yard I was looking ford to having a campfire but there was nowhere to do that. Maybe I missed that on the website description. Otherwise, the cabin was great, well-equipped and clean. We had a great stay.

The cabin was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The check in was super quick, they had a packet ready when we arrived. Detailed intructions, information and parking vouchers were given. I would recommend Parkside Cabin Rentals to everyone. The location was perfect 4 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg, we were in the quiet and serenity of the woods but within minutes to downtown. Thank you for an awesome stay. We will be back!

Friendly customer service . Nice to have to written directions to the cabin. Happy bear cabin was the perfect location. I will add. The one cabinet door is about to fall off. The throw pillows on couch are very dirty , one rocking chair on back deck is broken. There was a large cigar laying on the table that my granddaughter pick up , very nasty & dangerous to a child. Otherwise we had a good time & would definitely stay again. Although I am handicap & the bedrooms are up or down stairs. I made it … well done

Loved Happy Bear, but the door did not lock after original lock box 1st used. Had to leave the cabin unlocked. Also, had to plunge upstairs toilet and pipes made noise. Had to remove cobwebs from downstairs headboard. But very comfortable and beautiful cabin! Will rent thru you again!

Everytime we come to the area we stay at a different Parkside cabin and each experience has been positive. From a studio cabin to a family sized cabin, we love it. Parkside prices are always hard to best and the cabins are always very clean.

I think everything was wonderful I do wish we could of just went straight to the cabin instead of the office first since we got in so late and since we had to go to the office the next day anyways but other than that it was wonderful, the cabin was in a perfect location as well as the space and layout of it was perfect for us and I already have recommended it to friends!

Cabin was super. Hot tub Great Really enjoyed the rustic cabin Downside Lack of hot water In one shower but was corrected the next day Gas smell initially when tuning in heater Printed Recommendation list for restaurant was average at best Overall stay was worth the value paid , safe and secure

There was a few issues with cob webs and a baby roach in the kitchen. The tub upstairs in the loft really needs a good scrubbing with bleach. The downstairs windows are broken and unable to open for fresh air. But other than those issues your cabins are beautiful. The area was peaceful even with the cabin being in such close proximity of others. We truly enjoyed our stay and would rent again.

Cabin was great! Housekeeping could be stepped up. Cobwebs on lights and animal mounts. Went to make breakfast and the frying pan 🍳 was nasty. Baked on egg. Improvised with another pan, so it wasn't a total loss. Both Jacuzzi Tubs did not work, but only tried them on our last day. Will definitely stay again!

Check in was very easy, the parking passes were a great benefit. I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the cabin. The lower bathroom in Happy Bear appears to have black mold on the ceiling and the towel holders were missing. The upstairs toilet would not flush and one of the chair's arms was broken on the patio. The pool table was gross with hair on it. yuck!! If the cabin was cleaner with an upgrade in furniture it would be perfect.

Loved the Happy Bear Cabin, rooms were awesome! Beds were comfortable, however; there are a few things to improve on. 1.Trash picked up in the woods behind cabins would have improved view off the deck. 2. Furnace filter needed replacing. 3. Felt needs replacing on pool table, lots of stains. 4. Utilities room in basement is loaded with empty cardboard, leaning against equipment, a real fire hazard, should never be stored around furnace and hot water heaters. 5. Pots and pans are in horrible condition, non stick is wore off and chipping on skillet. Needs a new, bigger skillet at least.

Overall, the entire experience with ParkSide Cabin Rentals was good. The booking experience was very easy online. The check-in experience was also very simple and I was very appreciative of the coupons I received when checking-in. The cabin was very nice and had every amenity that was shown on the website. The only downside of the trip was that there was no blanket for the sleeper sofa. There was a fitted sheet and a top sheet but no blanket. We end up not needing one, but it would have been nice to have that if we needed it.
