6- Duck Blind

We really enjoyed our trip to Gatlinburg. We love staying at the cabins on the creek. We stayed in the Duck Blind.

Everything was great! The cabin was in an ideal location. Clean and comfortable!

The cabin was nice and clean. Had everything we needed. The employees were very nice upon arrival and when we were leaving.

Cabin was clean and so convenient. Our coffee maker would not work and a replacement was brought that day. The tv situation was terrible. We never did get the tv in the bedroom to work, even after asking for written instructions. Maybe it is time for a tv upgrade. Other than that, it was a great stay!

Evrything went very smooth The mattress protector could use a good cleaning or be replaced it was stained pretty.bad. Ive stayed several time and will continue

The cabin was a Great stay loved the location and cleanliness.

We love Parkside and the little cabins behind the office. We stay there at least once a year and will continue to do so.

We stayed in Duck Blind and loved the location and size of the cabin. We did the self-checkin but the standard coupons were not in the cabin, we didn’t need to park in the city but it would have been nice to have. The cabin was relatively clean, but the toilet seat was loose and clearly had some wear on it. Overall we would stay with you again, but some minor things could have made our stay more excellent.

We were very pleased with the ease and cordial service to access our room. Also I picked up a couple of extra towels and was treated very nice

Cabin was nice. Had a time figuring out TV. No instructions or channel guide. TV in bedroom would not turn off. Light shown all night! Gravel road potholes scraped the bottom of our car! No sign, light, or reflector to find the turnoff in the dark.

The first cabin we had, the hot tub was not heating as it should. So the parkway staff moved us to another cabin to correct this issue. Excellent customer service.

The cabin we were staying in the hot tub wasn't working so they were going to move us to a bigger better cabin with no extra charge. We've stayed in their cabins for years. It's always a great experience.

Caɓin was clean and all amenities working and made our stay very convenient. Also glad the trolley stop was so close.

The cabin was just as described. The location is perfect, it is located at the end of the spur as you enter Gatlinburg. The checkin was a breeze and the staff is friendly. Looking forward to our next stay.

We were pleased with our stay. Staff were helpful with booking our stay by telephone. The cabin was clean overall, but the floors were dirty. We feel like we got a great deal for what we paid.

This was my second stay here and Jeff at the front desk was still fantastic. However, the cabin wasn’t cleaned as well as our first stay. There were spider webs in all the corners of the bathroom, the bathroom door was very dirty as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a long while and the floor wasn’t cleaned well either. I still love the location so I would come back and try again.

We had a good time but we had a very cold first night. We didn’t realize until almost midnight that we didn’t have any heat. Tried to get the heater in bedroom to work. It didn’t. In the morning we were able to get the living area heater started. There needs to be an instruction sheet or manual for guests on how to use heat. We found it concerning that there were space heaters in the bedroom closet. I am not sure they are safe for guests to use. We also were staying 3 nights, 2 people and only had 3 sets of towels. There were no towels for the hot tub in the cabin. So after getting out of the hot tub the floor got wet and became slippery. We had to use a towel to clean it up. There should be a mop available. We did receive additional towels the next day after asking for them. We did find that the floor was somewhat dirty while cleaning the water up.

Everything was great. Good location . We would recommend to friends.

We had a great time staying in Duck Blind. The cabin was perfect for our family. Check in and out was easy and we loved the location.

We have stayed consecutive years and most likely will continue to. I have noticed the last few years the floors have been dirty and for some unknown reason this year there was tape over all of our door locks.

Friendly staff, clean, comfortable, private cabin. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. This was our second rental with Parkside. I recommend you to everyone.

Everything was great; the only thing that was a problem for us was getting our pickup in and out but it wasn’t that big of a deal.

I loved my stay here! My hot tub went out on second day but the guys worked so hard to get it back up and running so I could use it again before I went home, and we did! Thanks for helping me and my mom to have the best first vac. Together alone! Everyone was so nice to us and the cabin was right next to a stream and we could hear it just sitting in the living room was so relaxing will be back

Amazing. I e never had a problem there with staff or the cabins.

One concern, when you advertise a cabin sleeps a certain amount of people. Please make sure it is truly able to. The couch that folded out to a bed, the mattress was really really flimsy. And the bars hit you in the middle of the back making it not usable for a bed. We ended up sharing the bed so we made it work but the mattress really needs to be replaced.

Great cabin! Beautiful area. Very convenient to everything we needed and wanted to do. Would only recommend a little more cleaning of cabin prior to new guests arriving (bathroom/kitchen needed sweeping) (windows and fans had cobwebs) (kitchen sink had a piece of steak left in it when we arrived.) Overall, great stay. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in cabin 6- Duck Blind and the convenient location, relaxing hot tub, laundry, kitchen with supplies, and great staff.

The only thing we needed was a pool and our trash didn't get picked up

We thought it was a great value. Location, creek, hot tub, wifi, all great!! The receptacle in the bathroom may need some attention and the fireplace, while not on or used, was warm to the touch.

We enjoyed our stay in Gatlinburg! We particularly enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking in the beautiful smoky mountains.

We loved #6 cabin it was so nice and homey!! I especially loved the king size bed and the mattress was so comfortable I don’t think I have every slept so good while on vacation before it was like sleeping on a cloud! The cabin was clean we had enough towels it was the most wonderful little cabin and I loved the hot tube too!! We will be staying with Parkside cabin Rental again when we visit Gatlinburg in the near future!! Thank you for your Hospitality!!

We were pleased with the housekeeping and perks. The bedsheet and blanket was tucked in too short for comfort. Hads to pull it out after a couple of nights.

Check-in was quick & the staff was very efficient. The cabin was just the right size for two and even though other cabins were close, it still maintained a certain level of privacy, which made for a relaxing stay. The hot tub was great! Our only complaint is that the bathroom could have been cleaner.

While everything was great with our stay we did have to check out 2 days early due to a medical emergency. We were not offered a refund for the 2 nights nor did we get one. In fact when I turned in the key & told them we had spent the night at the emergency room I was not even asked why & if we were ok. I understand that this is your policy not to refund unless cancelled within a certain timeframe, but considering the circumstances & the fact that you were able to rent the cabin out for those nights, you would have thought we could have received a refund or at least credit for those nights.

The cabins were very nice and comfortable for 2 people. The cleaning could have been a little better as we walked into a dirty kitchen sink and dishes not thoroughly clean as well as the bathroom but overall the stay was great. The staff were very friendly and nice.

The customer service on the phone, check in and check out was amazing! We loved the goodie bag and folder of imformation and coupons. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay! We will be returning soon.

Our overall experience was great... The only complaints we had were the poor water pressure and very slick wood floors in cabin number six.

This was out third visit to Parkside cabins. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Cabin has everything we need and is close to town.

We had a great restful time there. The cabin was wonderful!! It was for our 25th anniversary and the place was quiet and restful and we loved the hot tub!! We do wish it was a little more private. But all in all our stay was just what we needed. Thank you!!

We LOVE staying in your cabins. We were in Duck Blind #6 again this year. The location is excellent. My request for a crock pot was noted and taken care of. Two things we found on check in that weren't enough to really complain about - the coffee pot still had grounds in it and the dishwasher was loaded but hadn't been ran. I do wish you would add a guest laundry on your property! We will be back next year. Getting my dates together to make my reservation soon. Thank you for a great facility.

The cabin was very nice. I would prefer a little more privacy from the other cabins. I think blinds on the porch would be an excellent addition to give more privacy in the hot tub.

The cabin was great as per usual. The only problem we had was the lack of water pressure in the sinks and showers. Everything else was great.

This was our first time staying in a cabin, it was just right for two people. It was clean, just far enough off of the main road so that the traffic noise was not a bother. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we have already started talking about coming back for another stay. The only thing was that the shower was small and hard to move around in, but other than that we had a Great Time!!!

Very happy with everything about the cabin. It is the perfect size for 2 people. Bed is comfortable and we love the hot tub. Only thing I could suggest for cabin is a rug inside the door, it was raining and we tracked in a lot of wet footprints. Also floors are very slippery. People at check in and check out were very friendly and helpful. We are already planning our next visit and plan to rent a second cabin for my parents.
