4- Animal House

It's our 4th year staying there. The staff is ALWAYS kind and accommodating. Any issues we had with the cabin were immediately addressed. Although, there's rarely anything that needs addressed.

Cabin was clean. Shower was great. Need comfortable chair in living room. We liked the free downtown parking.

Very good. Fridge was leaking water and maintainance was prompt at dealing with the problem.

Definitely the best rental company we have used In the smokies. Our second time renting from Parkside can't wait to come back next year

We are repeat stayers with y’all. Love the location close enough to everything but far enough to enjoy the quiet. We look forward to our next trip and will definitely book with you guys!!

Check in is super easy. We had a problem with our C02 detector and they were at our door within 5 minutes to help us out. Replaced the unit and all was well! Parking passes for downtown Gatlinburg are a huge plus.

## A Home Away From Home: Mountain Cabin Magic Our stay at Animal house was nothing short of magical. The cabin felt like a home away from home, offering all the comforts we needed for a relaxing family vacation. Jeff was very helpful. The fully equipped kitchen was a lifesaver, allowing us to prepare delicious meals together. We loved gathering around the dining table to share stories and laughter. And when it came to laundry day, having a washer and dryer in the cabin was a huge convenience. The cabin's location was unbeatable. Being right next to the putt-putt golf course was a hit with the kids. They spent hours challenging each other to friendly competitions. It was a great way to burn off energy after a day of exploring the mountains. We can't say enough about how peaceful and safe the cabin was. It was the perfect place to unwind and reconnect as a family. The cabin was nice. Really enjoyed the hot tub. The cabin was close to most places and in a great location. The only complaints my boyfriend and I had were that the bed was somewhat uncomfortable (on the more firm side of beds) and that the sheets weren’t comfortable. The bottom/fitted sheet was constantly coming off due to it not fitting the bed properly and the sheets were very rough and caused small cuts/friction burns while sleeping. Also, online it shows like a req. area with a pool table and a community fire pit are, but when we asked staff about it, we were told that it was a a different location of theirs. The staff was friendly and willing to answer all questions and get us what was needed.

Cabin was neat and clean. We hit the perfect week for warm, fall color. Some of the traffic was terrible, though.

Very nice hot tub. Some traffic issues in and out. Tree trimmers blocked road and access to cabin on multiple occasions. Had to wait as much as 30 minutes for them to move. The televisions are somewhat dated. It would be nice to see smart tvs that support casting from devices. Great staff.

Everything was perfect. Cabin was very nice. Only very minor complaint was that the BBQ pit had not been cleaned out. I cleaned it and made some of the best filet mignons I have ever eaten. Roughing it - HaHa! We will definitely be back.

As always, our experience with Parkside Cabin Rentals was great. Upon arrival the staff were very polite and accommodating. Animal House is one of our annual go-to places, and was very clean. Will definitely return again.

The first time we stayed, my boyfriend proposed to me in the kitchen. This time we stayed, we was on our honeymoon. We absolutely love staying with you all and we haven’t had a bad experience yet. Our stay at the Animal House cabin was perfect! The bed was comfortable, and the hot tub and rocking chairs on the deck provided a nice place to relax after a day of sightseeing. We also loved having a washer and dryer in the cabin. We were thrilled to see a pair of bears right outside our cabin window while we were there! The location was convenient to area attractions and we would stay there again. Or, if we do visit again, we might try another Parkside Cabin next to a creek or with a view of the mountains. We would highly recommend Parkside Cabins!

I was a great stay, the only thing that would need to be changed is instructions on how to lock the doors should be on the paperwork and correct wifi password . Overall it was a great stay and we would stay agai and recommend the cabin to others.

The cabin was fabulous. Clean and well equipped. Close to everything.The only suggestion I would make is added reflectors for drives on the roads to cabins. It was quite dark and very difficult to navigate the drives in and out. But other than that…. Everything was super.

We enjoyed our stay at the Animal House! About the only problem we had was the closeness of the other cabin next to us, while on the back porch the lights on the other cabin was on all night blinding us on our porch. The privacy fence was to short needs extending on up to the roof to block the other neighbors lights and be best to plant a nice full tree or bush at the end of deck where hot tub is between the cabins for more privacy.. Thanks again and we'll be seeing y'all again very soon!!

We enjoyed the cabin but prefer a more secluded area. The cabins were very close together. The bed was not at all comfortable. It was too hard with no spring. Customer service was very friendly and quick to respond. Overall a good experience and we will likely stay again.

Check in was real quick and easy. The flood lights don't work on the side of the house.

First time using this company. I was very pleased with the check in process and the workers at the office were great. We stayed in animal house #4 and it was absolutely beautiful and perfect for us. It is small but for a couple it’s perfect. Everything was great and the cabin was very clean. The only exception and issue which was not a bad one was the shower curtain. It did have some mold on the very bottom. I would suggest getting a shorter one. But other than that, it was very comfortable and I loved the hot tub. Location is great, just a short distance from all the action. We had snow all weekend and it was beautiful, not enough to keep us in though. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you

We love your little cabins behind the office this was our 5th stay. We had one issue with the door lock and the office sent someone out to take care of it right away. I small dresser or additional shelves in the closet would be nice. The only complaint we have is that there needs to be a deep cleaning schedule to scrub grout in shower and dust blinds, etc. the basic cleanliness is good just the periodic deep cleaning is lacking.

Wonderful cabin and a wonderful bargain and a fantastic location.

Cabin was very clean and neat. Hot tub was great even in the cold, and was nice and clean. Great coupons / discounts upon checking in and check out was easy! Just lock the door and done! Only thing that I would suggest is for the front desk guys to be a bit nicer and not as rushed.

We love staying with Parkside! The only complaint i had was the shower curtain in Animal Hose needs to be changed. There was mildew or mold growing on the bottom.

My only complaint would be that I was not aware the cabins were packed so close together based on your descriptions. It was a little disappointing to think that we were going to be in the woods when in reality we were jam packed up against the woods with so many other cabins clustered around us

It was a great location and beautiful. However, not ideal for those with severe allergies because nothing was dusted and the shower looked like it had never been cleaned.

We loved our Animal House cabin #4.....it was very nice, clean, and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Having the washer and dryer was definitely nice. The hot tub was an added bonus and we loved sitting out on the deck early in the mornings. The only thing I would recommend is to change the shower curtain liner(it was dirty and had mildew on it). We would love to stay with you again in the future.

Our cabin, Animal House, was so cute! Everything was there for us, and it was just minutes away from the main strip. The only thing I would recommend is having a colander there, but we would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. This was the third time we have rented through Parkside, and it will not be the last. However, there were a few minor housekeeping issues. The location is great, and the staff is very friendly and professional.

We enjoyed our stay but do recommend if you have a new walking baby take non slip sock. Our sweet girl feel so many times in the floors. We stayed in #4 Animal house i believe and the bed was so uncomfortable. Other then that it was nice. We will come back some day.

We loved staying in Animal House last week because it was very roomy, clean, quiet and had a nice deck which made you feel that you were up in the trees. This was our fourth time staying with Parkside, in the cabins behind the office, and won't be our last!!

For the most part, the cabin was clean and tidy. I did find some dried up food under the table which I picked up and threw away. The only problem I had was that someone came onto the back deck and stole a half bag of charcoal that we had left over and planned on using. Otherwise everything was great!

We have always stayed with Parkside during our visits to The Great Smoky Mountains and will continue staying with them! Planning another trip already!

Everything was good. Staff was very helpful and nice. The bed could've been better and the cabin wasn't as clean as I would like. The cookware needed to be replaced and the internet did not work good either. Other than those complaints the stay was great!

Love the cabins. Even though they are close they are very private! Some noise from construction on cabin behind us woke us up earlier than we wanted but we will still be back! Love the hottub lights.

We've stayed here many times. This was our first experience with the "metal box" frame under the bed. We did not enjoy that at all. In fact,, we're both exhausted from restless nights from the bed "popping" all night long every time one of us moved. It literally sounded like someone was banging on duct work under our bed. Another aspect we did not like was the numerous bait traps left about the cabin. Very unappealing. We enjoy the location of the cabins, very convenient....and the fresh cookies!!!! But please address the metal box frames!!!!!
