Pigeon Forge Event Brings Old-West to the Smoky Mountains

For 14 years, the Saddle Up event has been bringing together Western and historical enthusiasts to learn about and experience cowboy culture themselves. This year, the annual event is packed with unique dining, country-western concerts and local flavor.

 

Starting with a Songwriter’s Workshop, the event will run from February 19 through February 23. Admission to most of the scheduled events is free, but the meals and restaurants include a cost. Events that are scheduled in locations other than the Pigeon Forge LeConte Center or require a cost for admission are noted in the full schedule below.

Most of the events scheduled will be held at the new events center, the LeConte Center. Some of the events will be held at the Pottery House Cafe at the Old Mill Square, Smoky Mountain Guitars and Clabough’s Campground.

 

Talented singers and songwriters will be in attendance to entertain and perform. Musical artists headlining the Pigeon Forge event include Joyce Woodson, Red Steagall, Don Edwards and Belinda Gail.
